Alabama football coach Nick Saban has tested positive for COVID-19 just days before the Iron Bowl. A Milledgeville, Georgia boy was arrested on Friday when a gun discharged from the boy's backpack inside an elementary school, WMAZ-TV reported. The boy attends Lakeview Academy, a school for students in grades 3 through 5. The boy told investigators that he was unaware that there was a gun in his backpack, and that he had never seen the firearm before. The gun reportedly went off as he was going through his backpack in the back of the classroom. After authorities arrived at the school, he was placed under arrest. The boy is facing four charges, according to WMAZ: Carrying a weapon in a school zone; reckless conduct; disrupting or interfering with public school; and possession of a pistol by a person under 18. Baldwin County Sheriff's Maj. Scott Deason told WMAZ that the firearm was a stolen Smith & Wesson 9-millimeter. Deason told the Union Reporter that that student could not explain to investigators how he ended up with the gun.“They questioned the juvenile in the presence of his mother,” Deason told the Union Reporter. “The mother also stated she didn’t know how the gun got into her son’s book bag.”The Union Reporter added that the boy is not allowed back in school until after he goes through the court system. 1320

Amazon's cashier-free grocery store of the future is coming to San Francisco and Chicago.The company is expanding its experimental Amazon Go store to the two US cities, but did not say when they would open. It has posted job listings for store managers in the cities on its own site, which were first noticed by the Seattle Times.Amazon confirmed its plans for the two cities in a statement to CNNMoney. Earlier reports from Curbed and the San Francisco Chronicle found clues that Amazon was eying retail space in the two cities.Currently there is only one Amazon Go store: a small space located in the base of one of its Seattle skyscrapers that opened to the public in January.The store uses a collection of cameras and sensors to constantly track customers and inventory as they move around. Shoppers need to open the Amazon Go app to enter, and any products they take from the store are automatically charged to their account when they leave.There are no cashiers but there are plenty of human employees restocking shelves, checking ID for wines, and working security.Amazon is already in the grocery business. In addition to its own selection of food available for purchase online and the Amazon Fresh grocery delivery service, Amazon owns Whole Foods.
