(KGTV) -- The quest for Black Friday deals had San Diego malls packed Friday. But there were those who beat the crowds by getting their shopping done under the full moon.  "We started at like 8:30 [last night]," said one woman shopping with her sister at 4:30 a.m. at the Carlsbad Outlets. The mall had opened their Black Friday event at 6 p.m. Thursday with no closing time until 10 p.m. Friday. That meant those willing to shop all night, had free reign to scour the deals with a lot less competition.  "I think the only reason we're here at this time, said the woman, "is because there's no lines. And we can leave our kids at home. They're sleeping while we can shop."  Of course, an all night shopping event doesn't happen without workers.   "I started last night at 5pm." Said the manager of Joe's Jeans as the clock neared 5:30am.  Asked how she was holding up, she replied, "I'm doing good. I'm off in a little bit."  "Have a great day you guys." A door monitor at Tory Burch said to two customers leaving the store as she turned to others in line to get in. "I can let two in."  High end hand bags and purses, with prices slashed 50 to 75 percent, were selling fast.  Other irresistible deals were at the Disney Store.  "We've got Princess stuff. We have Toy Story stuff," said one mother sifting through bags of new toys. "It was about 250 dollars for everything in these bags. So, pretty good deal for three full bags of toys."  1567

(KGTV) — On Aug. 9, 1969, the doors of Disneyland's spookiest attraction creaked open and invited guests inside to meet its ghostly residents.The spirited New Orleans Square ride was the first attraction to open without Walt Disney's direct supervision at the theme park, according to Disney. And while Disney reviewed early concepts, he didn't live long enough to see the completed ride.The idea for the mansion started in 1952 as an early concept sketch by Harper Goff when the theme park was still being developed. Construction started in 1961 and the gothic, Victorian exterior was finished in 1963. A bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced legislation Wednesday that aims to overhaul the way sexual harassment is treated on Capitol Hill, as fresh stories of misconduct involving sitting members of Congress have rocked Washington this week.Rep. Jackie Speier of California and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, both Democrats, unveiled companion bills in the House and Senate to reform the sexual harassment complaint process on the Hill and boost transparency around the sensitive issue. (KGTV) - The mother of two girls found dead in their San Bernardino County home will be charged with their murders when she is released from the hospital, Ontario police said Thursday. Officers said Linda Nguyen, 47, was placed under arrest and will be booked when she is medically cleared. She is currently unresponsive, police said. The bodies of Nguyen’s daughters, aged 4 months and 14 years, were discovered by their father Tuesday when he returned home from work. Among the evidence were two suicides notes written by Nguyen “indicating that she intended to kill the children and to kill herself," police Sgt. Bill Russell told reporters. "We do know that the mother was dealing with depression prior to the incident and had dealt with that in the past," he said. (SAN DIEGO) KGTV -- New records released show police responded to the home of the man that injured two police officers dozens of times in the past. On June 23rd, police responded to a disturbance call at the Rolando Court condo. When they smelled smoke, they called firefighters to the scene. Officers knocked on the front door for more than 20 minutes but received no response, officials said. Firefighters forced entry into the home. That’s when firefighters and officers were met with gunfire. Two officers were shot.The man inside the condo, Joe Darwish, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.Following the June 23rd shooting, Team 10 requested details regarding the number of times police responded to Darwish's address, but they were not released until after the investigation was over. The officers were cleared of any wrongdoing.Documents show that since 2013, there were 31 calls for service to Darwish's address before the night of the shooting. More than half were 5150 calls, where officers checked on the individual’s mental wellbeing. Nine calls were for disturbances, some with violence. In February 2016, there was one call listed as “CCCC,” which police say describes a chronic caller to the department. The records also revealed police were at the home eight days before the shooting for another disturbance call with potential violence. Darwish did have a criminal history and was not supposed to own any weapons. 1443
