Griffith says the same can apply to hospitals and other office spaces."I think it's going to be common in a lot of designs to have dedicated spaces for temperature checks and things of that nature," Griffith said.A large building's heating and cooling system will likely be a large focus, according to Griffith. Rather than circulating air throughout the whole building, individual units may be able to keep the air within smaller areas in case of an outbreak.Schools have been through similar kinds of building trends before. In the early 2000s, it was all about security and hindering active shooters. BAKERSFIELD, California — Fire crews around California are gradually getting the upper hand on wildfires that are ravaging the state.On Monday morning, CalFire updated the progress of multiple fires from around California.The Camp Fire in Butte County is now covering 151,000 and is 66 percent contained. That fire has already claimed the lives of 77 people. About 1,000 people are still unaccounted for. CalFire is reporting that 11,713 homes have been destroyed. As the holiday season approaches, many companies are in need of temporary employees. Although these jobs are generally considered temporary, some retailers say jobs positions could lead into permanent positions. Here is a look at who is hiring:Best BuyElectronic retailer Best Buy said it will hire an unspecified number of temporary employees for the holidays.
