ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A St. Petersburg man was stunned to see a credit card arrive with his name. The problem is he never applied for it.Adam Hickson pulled out a Chase Sapphire card from a UPS envelope addressed to him. The card had his full name and a limit of nearly ,000.“How could this happen? How did they get my identity?" asked Hickson. "I have no idea how they got my information right now. I can only speculate.”According to the Better Business Bureau, identity theft is the fastest-growing type of fraud in North America. “There’s not a lot of ways to prevent this from happening to you," said Jen Smith, a personal finance expert.Smith says this type of fraud can happen to anyone, especially in this age of data breaches.“It can be really disrupting because money controls so much of your life," she said.Scammers can pay for names, addresses, even social security numbers off the dark web. Swedish prosecutors will not appeal the conditional sentence for assault handed to A$AP Rocky earlier this month, meaning the US rapper will avoid the threat of a harsher ruling.Daniel Suneson, the prosecutor in the case, said on Tuesday he had decided not to mount a challenge, acknowledging it was not clear whether or not A$AP Rocky and two members of his entourage used bottles as a weapon during the street brawl in the Swedish capital on June 30."I have accepted the District Court's evaluation of the evidence, in as much as the use of whole or broken bottles during the assault has not been proven," Suneson said in a statement Tuesday. "After due consideration, I have chosen not to appeal the verdict."Suneson said all three defendants have been brought to justice for assault and the Stockholm District Court has dismissed the plea of self-defence -- something he said was "important to clarify in this particular case."The imposition of a conditional sentence means that A$AP Rocky -- whose real name is Rakim Mayers -- will not have to serve any further jail time but will be subject to a probationary period of two years.Suneson had argued during the trial that the artist and the two other men -- David Rispers and Bladimir Corniel -- assaulted the victim by kicking and beating him with a whole or part of a glass bottle while he lay on the ground.However, the court decided there was too much conflicting evidence to determine conclusively if the three men had used the bottle to strike the victim.While expressing disappointment in the verdict, A$AP Rocky's lawyer Slobodan Jovicic said after the ruling on August 14 he was pleased about the court's decision regarding the bottle. Sam's Club announced on Tuesday that it will begin offering special shopping hours and "shop from your car" service for seniors amid a rush for supplies amid the spread of coronavirus. Starting on Thursday, Sam's Club stores will have early shopping hours every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 a.m. for seniors and those with disabilities or compromised immune systems. The special shopping hours will be available until further notice. Also on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 to 9 a.m., Sam's Club locations will allow seniors and those at risk to shop from their cars. SHARON, Penn. – Tariffs raise prices on items companies import to sell or make products with, which affects small businesses across the U.S. Two thirds of Americans say owning a small business is part of their American dream. Seven years ago, Carla Infante made that dream a reality in the small town of Sharon, Pennsylvania. “It was frightening. After I got everything all set up for the grand opening, I thought ‘what if nobody comes?’”Despite that fear, that was never Infante’s problem. Knitting and crocheting enthusiasts have been streaming in since Never Enough Yarn opened, either for her variety or her knitting nights. “I have people who come regularly every Thursday night for our knitting group. Sometimes we knit and drink coffee. And sometimes we get a bottle of wine out instead of coffee,” said Infante. “It's been amazing.” As amazing as it has been to have loyal customers and consistent demand, Never Enough Yarn is closing. “The Internet has really done a lot of injury to local small businesses,” said Infante. “So that had been creeping up on me. But when they put the tariffs in, that really pushed me over the edge.”There have been a half dozen rounds of tariffs imposed on Chinese goods over the past year and a half. The latest have really affected businesses like Infante’s. The prices of all Infante’s yarn and knitting supplies has had to go up. I just can't pass this on.”So, before a new round of tariffs hit, she’s ending this chapter of her American dream."I made it seven years and I would have liked to stay a little longer,” said Infante. “But I also know when it's time to go you know the old saying ‘know when to fold them.’”"A lot of shops are closing, it’s not just Carla’s,” said a customer of Infante’s. “We had one in Grove City and she went out of business.
