A 19-year-old man was detained in Germany on Tuesday after police found him carrying a 2-foot long python in his pants.According to the Associated Press, the unidentified man was detained by police in Darmstadt after having a loud drunken argument with another man. When police searched the teenager, they found "a significant bulge" in his pants.The man then told police he had a snake in his pants and pulled it out to show officers. According to the BBC, police believe the baby king python may belong to one of the man's relatives.The teen was taken into a jail cell to sleep if off. Last week, she shut her doors for good."Heartbreaking, frustrating, it felt like a relief, as well," said Sandahl.Sandahl said they made it through the initial shut down in March, but when COVID-19 cases surged in the summer, they couldn't recoup their losses."After the fourth of July, things just dropped. It was like a ghost-town," said Sandahl.The Design District on Cedros Avenue is home to dozens of unique shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. Before the pandemic hit, the business owners were holding monthly outdoor strolls with live music."Leaping Lotus and The Belly Up, they were our lifeline.
