Thursday marks the third occasion Democratic presidential hopefuls take the stage for a debate, but this instance will be unlike the past two events. The Trump administration is proposing a rollback of nutrition guidelines for school meals that had been promoted by Michelle Obama as part of her campaign to combat child obesity. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue says the rule changes are needed to give schools more flexibility and reduce waste while still providing nutritious and appetizing meals. But child nutrition advocates say the change will result in fewer fruits and vegetables and more fries, pizza and other unhealthy foods in the meals served at school. The President's former lawyer Michael Cohen testified Wednesday that Donald Trump directed him to "threaten" Trump's high school, colleges and the College Board to not release his educational records."When I say conman, I'm talking about a man who declares himself brilliant but directed me to threaten his high school, his colleges and the College Board to never release his grades or SAT scores," Cohen told the House Oversight Committee during a public hearing.
