A Glendale, Arizona mother is speaking out after her daughter’s class was subject to an odd punishment. Brittany Trofy says her 7-year-old daughter and classmates were forced to walk in a circle on the Luke Elementary School playground last week as punishment. It was around noon that day and temperatures were likely in the high 90’s or even warmer.Trofy claims the march lasted anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. She says her daughter told her about the punishment when she came home that day.According to Trofy’s daughter, several kids complained of headaches and cramps. "The school stripped me of my right to nurture my child when she didn't feel good by not letting me know she didn't feel good,” Trofy said. The Dysart Unified School District confirmed to KNXV that they are reviewing the teacher’s actions that day. We’re told that the practice is not “district approved.” However, a spokesperson says it only lasted around five minutes. Students were checked by a school nurse and none displayed any signs of heat exhaustion. The Dysart Unified School District would not elaborate if the teacher would be facing punishment or has a history of questionable decision making. A spokesperson told us they cannot discuss personnel matters. "My daughter is right now scared to go back to school for fear of seeing the teacher that got frustrated with them,” Trofy said. A Caroline County, Maryland man was arrested after an investigation led to criminal charges of possession and distribution of child pornography.The suspect, Jeffrey Litteral, 52, of Denton, Maryland, has been charged with possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, possession of obscene material and distribution of obscene material. Litteral was arrested near his home at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night and, from there, he was taken before a court commissioner for an initial appearance and was held without bond.This investigation began in 2017 when a Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division investigator received information about possible child pornography being uploaded to the internet. This led to Litteral and the development of evidence that enabled investigators to obtain an arrest warrant.During the investigation, detectives also learned that Litteral was employed by the United States Secret Service. Officials there assisted during his investigation and arrest.The investigation is continuing, so additional charges are possible. 1114

A lawsuit is being filed against Massage Envy after attorneys say seven women throughout California were sexually assaulted or raped by massage therapists, according to KGO.In a lawsuit filed against the company, attorneys say they are looking for other alleged victims to come forward.The reported incidents happened at Massage Envy locations in Southern California, the Sacramento area and the Bay Area.The claims range from inappropriate touching to rape.
