The Phoenix Police Department released video Wednesday of a frightening moment involving a red-light runner and a family crossing the street with a stroller.Police say the incident happened near 53rd Avenue and Indian School Road on October 14, around 10 p.m. Watch video of the incident in the player above.The family says Ulysses Betancourt, his wife Gabrielle and 1-year-old son Damian were on the way to the grocery store after riding the bus. Police say the driver who ran the red-light, 28-year-old Ernesto Otanez Oveso, was driving under the influence at the time. The driver with the right-of-way in the crash was injured, but the injuries were not life-threatening.After the crash, police say Oveso fled the scene along with a female passenger. Oveso allegedly told a witness that was following him to get away, and stabbed the car door of the witness. "He could've taken people's family members away, innocent people. Why would you do such a thing?" said Ulysses's sister, Abby Betancourt. "I'm so glad I'm going to see my brother. I love him and my sister-in-law." Oveso has been arrested and faces charges for DUI, aggravated assault and prohibited possession after a gun was found in his Jeep. The female passenger has not been located. 1263

A man suspected of killing a police officer this week in Newman, California, has been arrested, according to Deputy Blake Edwards with the Kern County Sheriff's Office.The Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department announced that Gustavo Perez Arriaga was arrested this morning at a home in Bakersfield, California. Arriaga was arrested and will be transported to Stanislaus County. Arriaga will be charged with homicide.Adrian Virgen and Erik Razo Quiroz were arrested yesterday for allegedly helping Arriaga escape after he allegedly shot and killed Corporal Singh. Virgen and Quiroz were arrested for accessory after the fact to a felony.The 33-year-old police officer, Singh, pulled over a man just before 1 a.m. Wednesday and a few moments later called out "shot fired" over the radio.Singh was found shot by other officers and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.The Stanislaus County Sheriff said Singh was conducting a traffic stop for a suspicion of driving under the influence when the shooting occurred.Singh was a native of Fiji and joined the force in July 2011. 1110

(WPLG/CNN) - A Broward County, Florida, man's Ring surveillance camera captured someone relieving himself on his driveway during the day."I know when it comes for you to go, you have to go," said victim Wilton Thomas.Thomas is trying to understand the situation but is frustrated after seeing the surveillance video of some dude dropping a deuce on his driveway."He could have drove himself right toward the left in the fence, toward the coconut tree and do what he wants to do there. That would be no problem, but in my driveway?" A man fatally stabbed a woman in the neck at a bus stop in downtown Pittsburgh and then stabbed another passerby on Thursday in what police said was a random attack.The incident began when an officer saw a woman sitting at a bus stop in some medical distress, so he got out to check on her. A man then came up and stabbed her, and then stabbed another woman who happened to be walking down the street, said Pittsburgh Police commander of major crimes Victor Joseph.The officer on scene saw a knife in the man's hand and ordered him to the ground at gunpoint, Joseph said. The suspect dropped the weapon and was taken into custody.The first woman was taken to a hospital and died of her wounds, and the second woman is believed to be in stable condition, Joseph said.Police do not yet know of any motive."It seems by all accounts a random act of violence.
