And that doesn't include the 900 hundred members of the DC National Guard who have been activated to provide traffic control and security on the streets and in the subway system.Trump will speak around 6:30 p.m., and there will be a 21-gun salute, according to the defense official. The President will then speak about each military service. He will first talk about the Coast Guard, with his remarks followed by the Coast Guard flyover. And the day hasn't been marked by such overtly militaristic displays.That's caused concern even among US military brass that their ranks could end up politicized, according to people familiar with the matter. In the planning for the event, Pentagon leaders had reservations about putting tanks or other armored vehicles on display, a source with direct knowledge of the situation said.As the final details come together, several top military chiefs of the individual services are not attending and instead are sending alternates, though some said they had prior plans.The White House has insisted Trump's speech will not be political and will instead honor the military and its service to the country. There is an urgent need for more healthcare workers nationwide.Recruiting firm NuWest Group is working to find 200 nurses before the end of this week. Specifically, they want intensive care unit (ICU) nurses who will travel to the hardest hit areas, like New York City.“What all these facilities are gearing up for is this middle of April timeline, so the big rush to get these nurses to where they need to be before the peak hits,” said Mona Veiseh, President of NuWest Group’s Healthcare Division. NuWest Group says it wants to speed-up nurses becoming licensed to work in other states. They did this in Washington state. New York is already willing to look at any licensure across the country.Nurses are being paid more incentives to work where the greatest need is. Mona Veiseh says the pay rates for ICU nurses and registered respiratory technicians are the highest she's seen in her 14 years in the business. She's also seeing many nurses already answering the call to go where there is need.“I have seen entire units lend groups of ICU nurses to other units across the country trying to get the nurses to where the outbreaks are the most significant,” said Veiseh. Another unprecedented measure – nurses and medical students are being fast tracked to work in hospitals earlier. Some nurses in New Jersey are working in field hospitals for their final semester instead of going to school. TULSA, Oklahoma — The owner of a popular Tulsa bakery was arrested after she was accused of stealing baking products. Libby Morley, who also goes by Lauren Morley and Lauren Beesley, was taken to jail March 25 for felony larceny.She is accused of stealing about ,200 worth of butter, vanilla, chocolate chips and cream cheese from Sam's Club.An affidavit said on Nov. 2, an employee of Sam's club on 44th and Sheridan noticed Morley with 24 bottles of vanilla on her flatbed. The document said the employee noticed she was acting suspicious. After checking purchase history, the club reported to police they did not sell 24 bottles of vanilla that week. An internal investigation was launched within the store and found several other incidents where Morley did not pay, according to the affidavit. From Oct. 8 until Nov. 12, the store said she "did not make an effort to pay for the items and passed operational registers as the left the location." Throughout that period of time, the affidavit said she stole a total of 126 packages of butter, nine bags of chocolate chips, nine packages of cream cheese and 24 bottles of vanilla. Morley issued a statement through her public relations firm saying, "I deny the allegations against me. This is a misunderstanding. I'm working to clear my name."
