Two students were injured after a gun accidentally discharged at a school in Fulton County, Georgia on Thursday.Police received reports of a loud pop coming from a classroom at Banneker High School just before 3:30 p.m.According to a spokesperson with Fulton County Schools, a bullet hit a female student in the ankle, and also grazed another student. Both students were treated for minor injuries, according to the spokesperson.Officials say officers searched the classroom and found a low-caliber handgun hidden in a box. It's believed the weapon was brought on school property in a book bag by a student, according to the school spokesperson.The spokesperson added that "the investigation into this incident is ongoing and the [Fulton County Schools Police Department] plans to file criminal charges against everyone involved in this incident in accordance with District policy."Three students will face charges in the incident. One student is being charged with one count possession of a weapon and one count of a weapon on campus. Two students are being charged with reckless conduct because of their contact with the weapon.The spokesperson told CBS46 the gun did not belong to the injured students.No bags of any kind are being allowed into the school building on Friday.  1297

Twitter says it has permanently banned an account linked to former Trump adviser Steve Bannon after he advocated violence against infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI director Christopher Wray.According to CNN, Twitter has banned the account for Bannon's podcast, "War Room: Pandemic." In an episode that was published on mutliple online platforms Thursday, Bannon falsely claimed that President Donald Trump had won the 2020 election (the race is still too close to call) and added that Trump should fire both Wray and Fauci in his next term."I'd put the heads on pikes. Right. I'd put them at the two corners of the White House as a warning to federal bureaucrats," Bannon said, according to CNN. "You either get with the program or you are gone."In addition to the actions by Twitter, the video was also removed from Facebook and YouTube. CNN reports that the video remained active on Facebook for 10 hours before it was taken down.The Washington Post also reports that the episode of the podcast was removed from Spotify's library.Bannon's comments come as some of Trump's supporters have begun dipping into more extreme rhetoric as the President's re-election chances wane. According to authorities, the shark was initially spotted by Border Patrol agents in a helicopter above Imperial Beach around 10:30 a.m. The shark was also spotted by a lifeguard in a boat approximately two miles off the coast of Imperial Beach. RELATED: New shark detecting technology being testedThe shark is believed to be between seven and eight foot long. Lifeguards in Imperial Beach say they believe the shark could be a great white. The shark was again seen about half a mile off the coast of Silver Strand, prompting lifeguards to warn beachgoers. Lifeguards chose not to issue a formal public warning because the shark was of moderate size, wasn't behaving aggressively and was in an area with few people nearby, City News Service reports. (KGTV) - One person is dead after a car crash left a vehicle nearly split in the North County at 1:50 a.m. Saturday morning.The crash occurred on Old Castle Road at Gordon Hill Rd. Police found the vehicle nearly split by a tree. The teenage driver was taken to a nearby hospital but died.Police did not name the driver but said he was 20-years-old from Oceanside.A teen passenger in the vehicle also suffered minor injuries but is expected to recover.Investigators said they believe speed played a factor in the crash and the vehicle may have been racing. 616
