The first case of the new virus COVID-19 was confirmed in Rhode Island, state public health officials announced Sunday.The Rhode Island Department of Health said the person is in their 40s and had traveled to Italy in mid-February. The cars near the site of a gas explosion that killed one person in Durham, North Carolina, on Wednesday look like they've been in accidents.Windows are blown out. Air bags are deployed. Some have dents and dings. The roads are awash in glass, so much so they glisten.
