A fraudulent card donning the Department of Justice seal is making its way into the hands of folks against wearing face masks.The Department and Americans with Disabilities Act have come forward publicly stating they do not endorse or support the card. Last week in Downtown Boise, an individual claiming to possess one of the exemption cards walked into Dharma Sushi and Thai and was upset when refused service for refusing to wear a face mask.The restaurant, a privately owned business, requires all customers and staff to wear masks in their restaurant unless eating or drinking. They have signs clearly stating this before entering. They have even spread messages on their social media accounts, asking that anyone who cannot or will not wear a face mask refrain from visiting their location.One of Dharma’s owners said they will continue to enforce their policy because “if an outbreak happened at our store we’d have to close...that could be business ending for us.”The individual refused service claims to have post-traumatic stress disorder. They state that wearing a mask could trigger an episode and several times throughout the video, the same individual references having a “medical exemption.” Upon exiting the restaurant, a male partner shows local authorities his “face mask exempt card” telling them that refusal to comply with the card can result in a fine.This incident was filmed on a cellphone by the individual involved. After the encounter, this person uploaded the content online, where it received just over 32,000 views (the video has since been removed for privacy reasons). A Las Vegas mom says her extended-stay apartment is being unfair and may even fine parents over some new rules involving children.Julie Gordon lives at the Budget Budget Suites near Wigwam and Las Vegas Boulevard with her family, including three children ages 10, 9 and 7. Gordon says the rules were handed out earlier in the year."I did not have a problem with [the rules] because my kids are always supervised, and I didn't feel as if it applied to me," said Gordon.The sheet of paper she received from a security guard outlines six rules: 564

A Howard Johnson motel room was covered with so much dog feces and urine, a special crew wearing protective clothing had to be called in to clean and sanitize the room.It was those conditions Perkins Township, Ohio police say a mother and her 3-year-old year son were living in for a month."There was liquid urine and feces seeping from underneath the door," said Perkins Township Assistant Chief Vince Donald.Someone called the Erie County dog warden to check on the condition of dogs in the room.When the warden and police entered the room, they said the walls, floors and bedding were covered in dog feces.The bathroom had three inches of dog urine and feces on the floor. The boy was also covered in dog feces.Police contacted Erie County Children Services who had the child checked out at the hospital, then placed with a family member,The boy's mother, Dezeray Powell, 21, was arrested for animal cruelty and child endangering."The child had feces on his feet and clothes,” Donald said.Powell had been keeping three Great Danes inside the motel rooms small bathroom. The dogs were so malnourished their ribs were showing, authorities said.Erie County Dog Warden Barb Knapp said the dogs are getting fresh food and water and will be nursed back to health.The owner of the hotel said Powell would never let him in the room."We didn't know what was going on in the room, because she never let me in the room," Raghbir Virk said."It was pretty heartbreaking because the child, they don't have a choice. A Boynton Beach, Florida woman accused of shooting her husband five times over HOA complaints will not be charged with attempted murder.State prosecutors declined to file charges against Lisa Barreca Thursday morning. Police arrested Barreca last month, saying she shot her husband and caused wounds to his head, both his arms, his right leg and back.Barreca planned to use the stand your ground defense.A spokesperson for the Palm Beach County State Attorney's Office said the agency did not complete their investigation within the 30-day mandatory filing period. The SAO is able to file charges in the future, if they choose to do so.The Boynton Beach Police Department completed their investigation into the case, according to Public Information Officer Stephanie Slater.Barreca was ordered to be released on her own recognizance following a Thursday morning court hearing and the case was closed in court records. Barreca, who lives on Aspen Leaf Drive, was talking about HOA complaints with her husband Eric Barreca in their kitchen when he told police that the situation started to escalate.  The police report said that Lisa Barreca then went into the garage, retrieved her gun and shot him. Lisa Barreca was hospitalized and then was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail.
