A number of speeches will be given by top Democrats to promote Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and the party’s platform.Tuesday will also feature the official nomination for president and vice president. Florida Democrat Sen. Bill Nelson called Wednesday for a recount in his race for re-election against Republican Gov. Rick Scott.In a statement from Nelson's office, the longtime incumbent said Scott had prematurely declared victory in the race, which CNN has not yet called.In Florida, an automatic recount is triggered when the final margin is less than .5% and are not triggered by candidate requests. France is bracing for yet another weekend of protests that could rock Paris and other parts of the country.Prime Minister Edouard Philippe said the government was deploying 89,000 security force members across France -- including 8,000 in the capital -- in case the demonstrations turn violent again.Many of the capital's famed sites -- including the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, the Musée Delacroix and the Paris Opera -- will close over the weekend in advance of the protests, organized by the "gilets jaunes," or "yellow vest" movement. Following lackluster holiday sales, Toys 'R' Us will sell or close all 800 of its remaining stores, a source told the Washington Post on Wednesday. In January, the company announced that it was closing 182 locations in 2018. Wednesday's news could affect up to 33,000 jobs with the company. The company is in the midst of bankruptcy, and is facing nearly billion in debt dating back to 2005.
