SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — An unresponsive man was pulled to shore Wednesday after possibly being swept out to sea by strong waves along Ocean Beach's coast.San Diego Fire-Rescue lifeguards responded to reports of the man not breathing at about 2 p.m. at Dog Beach. Lifeguards on jet skis found the man lodged into the rocks on the jetty, according to SDFD Sgt. Bruce Jamieson. He had reportedly been swept about 75 yards from shore, according to SDFD.Lifeguards performed CPR and rushed the man to a nearby hospital, but did not give an update on his condition.Witnesses said the man, who is approximately 50-years-old and from Nevada, may have been chasing after his dog in the water when he was pulled out to sea.A high surf advisory was issued for San Diego County's coastline from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 10 p.m. Thursday, bringing large sets and the threat of rip currents to the area's shores. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — An arrest has been made in connection with a fatal hit-and-run Sunday in Sherman Heights, San Diego Police have confirmed to 10News.On Sunday, a silver SUV was traveling eastbound in the 1800 block of Market Street at about 2 a.m. when the vehicle hit a pedestrian. Family members have identified the victim as 41-year-old Jason Gordon.It's still not clear if Gordon was standing in the street or crossing lanes, police said. The driver fled the scene after fatally hitting the man.Police Tuesday released photos of the man they believed to be the suspect of the crash visiting Humberto’s Taco Shop on the corner of Broadway and 25th Street, where he ordered food. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A San Diego mother is responding to a disturbing video showing a woman screaming racial slurs and threats at her son, a black man, outside a downtown luxury apartment building early Tuesday morning.Shawni Crawley told 10News the incident occurred while her 29-year-old son, Rodney Jackson, was working as a security guard at the Pinnacle on The Park apartments located at 424 15th St. in San Diego's East Village neighborhood.The video, posted by Jackson's brother, doesn't clearly reveal the woman's identity. In his public Facebook post, his brother wrote: "A snippet of an incident with my brother and a racist white woman downtown San Diego!!!
