A federal prosecutor says an ally of President Donald Trump was given special treatment by the Justice Department. The prosecutor is prepared to tell Congress Wednesday that political considerations affected the handling of the Roger Stone case. Career Justice Department prosecutor Aaron Zelinsky says he was told that a U.S. attorney was giving Stone favorable treatment because he was “afraid of the President.” Zelinsky's accusations were made public in testimony released before the hearing by the House Judiciary Committee. A Lake Geneva, Wisconsin teenage who was stuck in Paris for weeks after falling into a coma has returned to the United States, his family says.Nathan Dyer returned to the US late Wednesday morning. His family is still raising money to pay off  thousands in medical bills.About a month ago, Dyer embarked on his first journey overseas to Morocco with his cousin. Dyer got sick a week into the vacation and fell into a coma. A federal judge on Monday sided with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and ordered the Dakota Access pipeline to shut down until more environmental review is done.U.S. District Judge James Boasberg said in April that the pipeline, which has been in operation three years, remains “highly controversial” under federal environmental law, and a more extensive review is necessary than the environmental assessment that was done. In a 24-page order Monday, Boasberg wrote that he was “mindful of the disruption such a shutdown will cause,” but said he had concluded that the pipeline must be shut down.The pipeline was the subject of months of protests, sometimes violent, during its construction near the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation that straddles the North Dakota-South Dakota border.The Standing Rock tribe presses litigation against the pipeline even after it began carrying oil from North Dakota. 905

A brutal attack on a McDonald's drive-thru worker in Michigan has the victim speaking out against her attacker."He drove up and I opened the window halfway to take his money. He shot me with a paintball gun and drove off," the victim said. She also recalls that the customer's weapon closely resembled a real handgun. The entire terrifying ordeal still has her in shock."It wasn't like I was being nasty or anything. I just took his order and he wasn't satisfied with the answer he had got," she says. It happened at 1:30 am, at McDonald's in Dearborn, Michigan at Michigan and Gulley.The shooter is described as a black male in his 30s, heavy set with a hat, driving a late model black colored Ford Crown Victoria. The victim is expected to make a full recovery. A brush fire had closed a stretch of Interstate 95 northbound and southbound in northern Indian River County, Florida on Monday morning. The highway reopened at 8:15 a.m. Delays are occurring from Fellsmere Road to the Indian River/Brevard County line in both directions.  This is about a 15- to 20-mile stretch.The helicopter for Scripps station WPTV in West Palm Beach flew over the area at 6:40 a.m. and spotted a large amount of smoke blowing onto the interstate.  526
