SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. – A section of the Three Mile Bridge in Pensacola is missing after Hurricane Sally battered the Gulf Coast Wednesday morning.The structure, also known as the Pensacola Bay Bridge, runs between Pensacola and Gulf Breeze, Florida.WEAR reports that state Sen. Doug Broxson will hold a call Wednesday night with Santa Rosa County Emergency Management about the damage.A request will be made for the Florida Department of Transportation to be included in the call, Broxson says.Broxson also stated they are also looking to request from FEMA to reimburse the cost of the damage, according to WEAR.Please be advised Pensacola three mile bridge is closed. San Francisco police say they will stop releasing the mug shots of people who have been arrested unless they pose a threat to the public. Police Chief Bill Scott says the new policy starting Wednesday is aimed at stopping the spread of negative stereotypes of minorities. Jack Glaser, a public policy professor at the University of California Berkeley who researches racial stereotyping, says data shows Black people who are arrested are more likely to have their cases dismissed by prosecutors. SAN YSIDRO, Calif. (KGTV) -- The new Mexican president is hoping a new deal with three Central American leaders will stop or slow the flow of migrants seeking asylum in the United States. Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador signed the new deal within hours of taking office. The deal with Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras, promises to create a fund that would fight poverty, create jobs and make sure migrants feel safe in their home countries. It will also create a re-integration program for those traveling with the caravan who wish to go back.University of San Diego professor, Ev Meade, says this deal looks good on paper but no one will know for sure until more specifics are released. Professor Meade has been traveling to Tijuana to meet and speak with the migrants. He says most leave because of instability. "What I hear from a lot of people is indirect effects of violence, so it's someone that might say I can't afford to feed my family but when you start asking them questions about what they do, the business that they worked for, why they were laid off, the violence is always there. It might be one degree, two degrees, three degrees of separation but the violence is always there," says Meade. It is still unclear how much funding will go towards those Central American countries but Meade says it will be years before we see the effects of the deal. (KGTV) - A Paradise family is thanking the San Diego community, after donations began pouring in for them following the deadly Camp Fire.The Harrisons are currently staying with family in Santee after the fire destroyed their homes. With nothing to return to, the family said they may make San Diego their permanent home and have already started looking at schools for their teenage son."I don't think Thanksgiving could have come at a better time," said Emily Keith, who evaded flames while carrying the family's three pets and caring for her brother."I had to go up on sidewalks and into front yards and in between trees, and try to maneuver my way out of town," Keith said.RELATED: Light rain falling on Camp Fire zone could hurt search effortDuring the evacuation, the children were separated from their parents. At one point, their car caught fire and they were forced to run from the flames."It was a life or death situation, honestly," Haley Harrison said. "I was running down the road hoping that someone would stop."The family made it safely to Chico nearly seven hours later. While they haven't been able to go back to Paradise, they've seen photos of their homes burned to the ground."My kids are safe. 18 years of stuff and memories we had in the house are gone but I don't care about that," Haley and Emily's dad Tyler said. "You hit the reset button. Michelle Lujan Grisham as the state experiences a spike in coronavirus cases, like most of the country. The relief package, which was approved with bipartisan support, will allocate 4 million in direct unemployment assistance, providing a one-time ,200 check to all types of unemployed workers.Another 0 million will be allocated for a grant program for small businesses in the state, allowing business owners to apply for grants of up to ,000.About million will go to provide emergency housing assistance, million will go to emergency food banks services, and million will be used for direct economic assistance to low-income residents, in the form of a one-time 0 disbursement per qualified household.Legislators says the funding for these programs will be made available through a transfer of previously received federal funds.
