Pritzker has ordered the state's residents to remain in their homes except for essential needs, joining similar efforts in California and New York to limit the spread of the coronavirus. The governor is proposing a state cigarette tax of .35 a pack, placing it on par with New York and Connecticut as one of the highest cigarette taxes in the nation.The very highest?
