Around 300 Pizza Hut restaurants are expected to permanently close following a bankruptcy filing of a large franchisee owner.NPC International filed for Chapter 11 in July. The company operates more than 1,220 Pizza Hut and 380 Wendy’s locations in 27 states.NPC announced an agreement with Pizza Hut’s corporate owner, Yum! Brands, to close roughly a quarter of their pizza restaurants, while looking for buyers for the others.There was no timeline or specific locations listed at this time, however in a statement to CNN, many of the restaurants slated to close “significantly underperform” compared to other Pizza Hut locations and have dining rooms. 661

(KGTV) -- Disney officially announced Tuesday that the park's latest venture, 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge,' will open in the summer of 2019.Disney previously announced that the land would open in 2019, but it was unclear exactly when guests would be able to explore the new area. Disneyland guests will be the first to enjoy the land. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge won't open at Disney World in Florida until late fall of 2019.The park says the Star-Wars themed land is the largest singe-themed land expansion ever undertaken by the company. As part of the announcement, Disney released a new sneak peak of the land. An independent news organization has researched reports regarding the size of airplane seating, and its findings led it to call coach-class seating a "death trap."The Daily Beast says dense, shrunken seat space does not do a safe enough job of allowing passengers to move quickly in the event of emergencies. DB's investigation found the FAA nor Boeing is disclosing evacuation test data "for the newest (and most densely seated) versions of the most widely used jet, the Boeing 737."It also found tests to ensure all passengers may safely leave a cabin are "dangerously outdated." They do not reflect how densely packed coach class seating has become, the report says."No coach class seat meets the Department of Transportation's own standard for space required to make a flight attendant's seat safe in an emergency," the DB reports. An Alabama woman alleges Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore sexually assaulted her when she was a teenager, her attorney Gloria Allred said Monday.Allred said her client, Beverly Young Nelson, would be willing to testify under oath and called on the Senate judiciary committee to hold a hearing and subpoena Moore."Mr. Moore attacked me when I was a child," Nelson said, adding that she was 15 when he began flirting with her and 16 at the time of the alleged assault. "I want Mr. Moore to know that he no longer has any power over me."The allegations of force, if true, would be considered sexual abuse in the first degree, but the statute of limitations in effect at the time would have passed.Nelson detailed her allegations in a statement alongside Allred, an attorney who focuses on discrimination and women's rights.The accusations on Monday came after The Washington Post published a bombshell report last week based on interviews with more than 30 people, saying Moore pursued relationships with teenage women while he was in his 30s. ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Late U.S. Senator John McCain will be laid to rest at the U.S. Naval Academy Cemetery in Annapolis.A private memorial service will first be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the U.S. Naval Academy Chapel.
