PHOENIX, Arizona — A Phoenix-based American Airlines flight attendant was sentenced to five years of probation for taking videos of men and boys using public restrooms. Special Agents with ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) say that on December 30, 2017, they detained Gordon Harold Nobriga, 50, as he was trying to leave the country through El Paso, Texas. Officials searched Nobriga's cell phone and found "numerous videos of men and boys using a public restroom." Investigators say the videos appeared they were produced through a 'peephole' in a bathroom stall. When questioned about the videos, Nobriga reportedly told HSI that the videos were produced in a store, but he refused to give the store's location. Since Nobriga is from Phoenix, the phone was sent to the Homeland Security Office in Phoenix where investigators were able to determine that the videos came from a Walmart store in Phoenix. They say surveillance video from the store shows Nobriga entering the bathroom several times over a two-month period and spending hours in the bathroom each time he went in. Investigators were able to identify two victims, a man, and a 14-year-old boy, both who do not know Nobriga. Nobriga was arrested on May 25 at Sky Harbor Airport as he exited a flight. On August 16 of this year, Nobriga pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted voyeurism and was sentenced to five years of supervised probation. Nobriga said he's been a flight attendant with American Airlines for sixteen years. Nobriga allegedly admitted to taking the videos, but he denies any distribution of them. He's was initially charged with 11 counts of voyeurism. American Airlines sent this statement at the time of Nobriga’s arrest: “We take this matter very seriously and have been cooperating with law enforcement throughout their investigation. Since this case is a pending criminal matter, we must refer all questions to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Phoenix.” 2070

PAUMA VALLEY (CNS) - Authorities Saturday identified a man suspected of ambushing three sheriff's deputies at his home in a rural area near Casino Pauma and sparking an hours-long standoff late Thursday.Jose Nieto, a 28-year-old Pauma Valley man, was arrested for three counts of attempted murder of a peace officer and three counts of assault of a peace officer with a firearm, San Diego County Sheriff's Lt. As three deputies approached the front door of the home, they were met with gunfire, Williams said.The deputies returned fire, established a perimeter around the home and called for backup, including a SWAT team.Nearby residents were evacuated from their homes and surrounding streets were shut down.Authorities spent hours trying to establish communication with the gunman, but when that was unsuccessful, the SWAT team entered the home and found the suspect inside with an apparent gunshot wound to his lower body, Williams said. PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A Pasco, Fla. woman was arrested after deputies say she was passed out drunk at the wheel of a parked car with a 5-year-old child in the back seat.20-year-old Sarah Nisse was found after the girl answered a phone call from her father.He called the 5-year-old via FaceTime and was able to see where the vehicle was parked.He found the car at 2509 Success Dr. and immediately removed his daughter from the vehicle and called 911.Fire rescue arrived and tried to administer aid to Nisse. She didn't say anything but raised a middle finger at them. When deputies arrived, Nisse appeared to be 'heavily intoxicated' and was taken to the Medical Center of Trinity.She blew a .276 and .272 three hours after the incident.Deputies say that without proper supervision, the 5-year-old was at risk of possible injury or death due to a large pond being next to where the car was parked, as well as due to the fact that Nisse was driving while under the influence.She was arrested for child neglect, violation of probation and DUI. She was on probation for willful child neglect in reference to a case in 2015 where she had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old juvenile. 1187
