A St. Louis couple who waved guns at peaceful protesters near their property earlier this year will speak in support of President Donald Trump next week at the Republican National Convention, The Washington Post, NPR and CNN report.The couple will reportedly deliver remarks remotely, as in-person portions of the convention have been canceled.Mark and Patricia McCloskey gained national attention in late June as Black Lives Matter protesters marched toward the home of St. Louis Mayor Lyda Krewson. Krewson and the McCloskeys live in a private, gated community.Though the protesters were peaceful and staying away from the McCloskey's mansion, the couple emerged from their homes with firearms and ordered protesters to leave.Various social media videos show Patricia McCloskey pointing a small handgun at protesters. A proposed bill moving through California's legislature would — hopefully — eliminate fears of an awful driver's license photo.SB-1407 would allow drivers to have the ultimate say in their license photo. The bill would let drivers take up to three pictures at the Department of Motor Vehicles and then choose which one they like best.Drivers would also be allowed to have their photo taken outside of the DMV by a pre-approved photography center.While all of this sounds great for drivers who loathe their license photo, it could come at a cost. The bill says there would be an extra fee for each additional photo but didn't specify how much. A postal worker's union says that USPS employees were not involved in an incident that led to several unopened mail bags dumped in two separate locations in Glendale, California, last week.On Thursday, KTLA-TV in Los Angeles obtained surveillance footage that showed a Budget rental truck pulling into the parking lot of Glendale spa.That morning, at about 5:40 a.m. local time, the truck pulled into the parking lot of 7Q Spa Laser & Aesthetics and began pulling bags of unopened mail and packages out of the truck.
