SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A 68-year-old woman has filed a lawsuit claiming she was sexually abused decades ago by a priest in Rialto, the latest in a wave of litigation targeting the Diocese of San Diego.The woman, identified only as Jane Doe, claims she was abused by Father Efren Neri while he served at Christ the King, a San Bernardino County parish that was then part of the Diocese of San Diego. “For many years, I just lived with it,” the woman said in an interview. “A lot of shame, anxiety all my life.”Father Neri died in 1982, according to the Diocese. In a statement, the Diocese said there are no reports Neri was ever accused of sexual misconduct with a minor. “None in San Diego, none in San Bernardino and none in Fresno,” the statement said. Last week, 20 people sued the Diocese of San Diego, alleging abuses by six other priests. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A former San Diego County Sheriff’s Captain pleaded guilty in federal court on Tuesday to illegally trafficking firearms.In a gray suit and a mask, Marco Garmo made his way into the downtown courthouse. ABC10 News’ cameras were not allowed in the courtroom, where Garmo stood before the judge and pleaded guilty to one count of engaging in dealing firearms without a license.The case stems from last year's bombshell allegations that five defendants including Garmo, prominent jeweler Leo Hamel, and former Sheriff's Lieutenant Fred Magana were involved in a massive gun running operation.ABC10 News was there as agents raided Leo Hamel's Fine Jewelers in Old Town.Hamel and Magana were charged with working with Garmo to re-sell guns and falsify records. Both have since pleaded guilty.The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Tuesday that the cases for the other two defendants are still pending.According to prosecutors, Garmo used his position to buy and re-sell guns that are intended only for law enforcement, not the general public, so-called off roster guns. Over six years, investigators say he sold more than 100 firearms for cash or to collect favors from those who might support him in a future run for San Diego Sheriff.Garmo faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a fine of 0,000 and supervised release for up to three years. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A “rolling altercation” between two drivers in the Bonita area led to the stabbing death of one man and the detention of another. Chula Vista police Capt. Phil Collum told 10News the incident was reported just after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Sweetwater Road and Willow Street, near the Chula Vista Golf Course.Collum said officers that responded to the incident arrived to find an unidentified man lying on the ground with stab wounds. Life-saving measures were administered before he was taken to Scripps Mercy Hospital. The man died from his injuries upon arrival, according to Collum.The other man, 60-year-old Rickey Smith, remained at the scene. Officers said they found a folding-blade knife, believed to be the weapon, on Smith's belt. He surrendered without incident, police said.Collum said witnesses reported the drivers of a white Ford Ranger pickup and silver Nissan Quest minivan yelling at each other before colliding. Smith left his truck and stabbed the victim, who was still in his minivan, police said. No other parties were involved, Collum told 10News. His eyes were immediately drawn to a back kitchen door."The cover to the dog door was not here .. it was lying on the floor.
