Retailers and carriers are preparing for an online holiday shopping surge that could tax shipping networks and lead to delivery delays.FedEx and UPS are ramping up their holiday hiring while expanding their weekend operations and asking retailers to use their shipping network when there is more slack. He was aboard Marine One en route when they had to return, according to reporters traveling with him.Trump was disappointed and pretty frustrated he had to turn back on the attempted visit to the zone, known as the DMZ, according to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.He was to join South Korean President Moon Jae-in as a symbol of a strong alliance. Researchers are working to find out who is buried in the 604 unmarked graves that were found on Clemson University's campus.In a press release, university officials said crews were surveying the Woodland Cemetery, located near Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina, when the unmarked graves were found.Using ground-penetrating radar, crews initially found 200 unmarked graves, but as the project went on, crews found 404 more graves."The number of graves coupled with the locations suggests the possibility that some may pre-date the period when the land was part of Calhoun's Fort Hill Plantation from 1830 to 1865," university officials stated in the press release. "Many of the graves are thought to be those of enslaved people who worked at the plantation and later as sharecroppers and Black laborers, including convicted individuals involved in the construction of Clemson College from 1890 to 1915."According to Greenville News, University Historian Paul Anderson and a research assistant will comb through census data and archives to find out who is buried there and when they were placed there.Former Clemson trustee Jim Bostic told the Greenville News that a large memorial would be put in place to honor those in the unmarked graves. 1258

Protests erupted late Monday on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, after police fatally shot a student who allegedly had a knife.The violence took place around the time of a planned vigil for the student, Scout Schultz, 21, who was killed Saturday. Video on social media showed a police car in flames.Georgia Tech police urged students to stay inside and lock their doors because of "violent protests on campus."The fatal encounter on Saturday happened after police responded to a 911 call at 11:17 p.m. reporting a suspicious person on campus.
