A top JPMorgan Chase executive is warning that stocks could fall as much as 40% in the next few years.Daniel Pinto, JPMorgan's co-president, said during an interview on Bloomberg Television Thursday that he believes market gains should continue for the next year or two. But he added that investors are nervous, and that the recent announcement about tariffs and trade wars contribute to their unease."Markets are going to be nervous, nervous about anything. Nervous about anything that relates to inflation, nervous about anything that relates to growth," he said. "These tariffs, if they go a lot beyond what has been announced, it is something that will concern the markets about future growth."He said it's normal for there to be a correction at the end of an investing cycle, and that markets could be heading for a "deep correction" of between 20% and 40%, depending upon the market values at the time the downturn starts."We know there will be correction at some point," he said.Related: Wall Street is on edge about tariffsThe markets briefly fell into correction territory last month as the the Dow Jones industrial average plummeted more than 3,200 points, or 12%, in just two weeks. The market then rallied from those lows, and the S&P 500 and Dow both ended February up for the year. But so far this month, concerns about a possible trade war and the departure of former Goldman Sachs executive Gary Cohn as President Donald Trump's chief economic adviser roiled markets once again.Related: Trump's tariff bombshell - Catch up herePinto oversees corporate and investment banking at JPMorgan Chase, the nation's largest bank. A recent study published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine suggests that antibodies might protect people who've already had COVID-19 from being reinfected for at least six months.Researchers looked at 12,541 healthcare workers at Oxford University Hospitals in the United Kingdom and were followed for up to 31 weeks. In the study, researchers investigated the incidences of COVID-19 infection by conducting polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests on the healthcare workers who had tested positive and negative, including both symptomatic and asymptomatic cases. The study results showed that 11,364 did not have antibody levels, and 1,265 had positive results, which also included 88 healthcare workers in whom seroconversion occurred during follow-up. A total of 223 anti-spike–negative health care workers had a positive PCR test (1.09 per 10,000 days at risk), up to 100 during screening were found to be asymptomatic, and 123 were to have symptoms, the study found.Researchers said that individuals who had anti-spike antibodies had no symptomatic infections. 1083

A person with knowledge of the punishment tells The Associated Press that at least three NFL coaches and their teams have been fined because their coaches weren't wearing face coverings on the sidelines at all times. The person says the three coaches who were fined are Vic Fangio of the Denver Broncos, Pete Carroll of the Seattle Seahawks and Kyle Shanahan of the San Francisco 49ers. The coaches were fined 0,000 each and their teams 0,000 each. Other fines could be coming as several other coaches violated the rules a week after the league sent out a memo reminding them to wear face coverings over their noses and mouths to protect against the spread of the coronavirus. 690

A mother whose toddler died weeks after they were released from a Texas immigrant detention center has filed a wrongful death claim seeking million from the US government.Yazmin Juarez's 19-month-old daughter, Mariee, died in May, six weeks after they were released from the immigration facility in Dilley.Juarez and her attorney allege that ICE and those running the facility provided substandard medical care for the toddler after she suffered a respiratory infection while in detention."The US government had a duty to provide this little girl with safe, sanitary living conditions and proper medical care but they failed to do that resulting in tragic consequences," attorney R. Stanton Jones said in a statement."Mariee entered Dilley a healthy baby girl and 20 days later was discharged a gravely ill child with a life-threatening respiratory infection. Mariee died just months before her 2nd birthday because ICE and others charged with her medical care neglected to provide the most basic standard of care as her condition rapidly deteriorated and her mother Yazmin pleaded for help." 1104
