(KGTV) — The cities of La Mesa and Santee have enacted curfews through much of this week over concerns of possible unrest.La Mesa's curfew begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 5:30 a.m. the following day for each day from Tuesday to Sunday morning.The City of La Mesa says in a release that, "due to conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property that have arisen within the City of La Mesa as a result of rioting and looting related to a police protest on May 30, 2020, the City of La Mesa Director of Emergency and Disaster proclaimed the existence of a local emergency within the City on May 31st, 2020."RELATED: 2 people arrested, accused of pointing gun at group gathered in SanteeSantee's curfew was set to start at 7 p.m. until the following day at 6 a.m. each day from Tuesday to Saturday morning.This curfew applies to the portions of Santee located to the south of Mast Boulevard (including all of Mast Boulevard), east of Carlton Hills Boulevard (including all of Carlton Hills Boulevard), west of Magnolia Avenue (including all of Magnolia Avenue itself) and north ofBoulevard), west of Magnolia Avenue (including all of Magnolia Avenue itself) and north of Highway 52.Santee leaders said, "for the past four evenings, large gatherings have occurred in the City of Santee, which have created threats to public safety and property and are in violation of current public health orders. The extension of the curfew will help in keeping the community of Santee safe while protecting our residents and local businesses."Monday night, San Diego Sheriff's Department says that two people were arrested after allegedly pointing a gun at a group of people gathered at the intersection of Cuyamaca Street and Mission Gorge Road.SDSO said a woman pointed a handgun at the group, before a traffic deputy spotted the reported vehicle and stopped the driver. Witnesses positively identified the woman in a curb-side lineup, and the woman and driver were both arrested after a semi-automatic weapon and two magazines were found in the vehicle, SDSO said.Poway, which had a curfew Sunday and Monday nights, had no plans for a curfew Tuesday night, Mayor Steve Vaus tweeted Wednesday.The cities has first enacted curfews after Saturday night saw instances of looting, rioting, and vandalism in La Mesa following demonstrations at La Mesa Police Department against police violence. 2490

(KGTV) - The nephew of baseball star Alex Rodriguez was kidnapped and held for ransom in New York Thursday after a deal involving a Lamborghini, various media outlets reported.Rodriguez’ nephew, 29-year-old Norberto Susini, met two men at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square to sell them the vehicle, WABC reported. The men then demanded Susini return a ,000 deposit but he refused.WABC reported the men then held Susini against his will in a hotel room. They demanded ransom from Susini’s business partners, who called police.The men turned themselves in at 4 a.m, according to WABC.Susini is a player in independent baseball leagues. REAL ID cardholders who presented only one residency document when they applied must confirm their address by mail, DMV officials say. The DMV sent 3.6 million letters to cardholders, asking them to verify their mailing address and return the letter to the agency. Anyone who lost or did not receive a letter by Aug. 15 can request one through an online form, DMV officials say. Starting Oct. 1, 2020, all travelers must present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or other TSA-approved identification, such as a passport or military ID, to fly within the United States. 736

For comparison, tickets for ages 10 and up can cost as much as 5 for a one-day, one-park ticket and 5 for a one-day, Park Hopper ticket on peak days.
