A Black man has filed a lawsuit against a gas station in Portland, Oregon claiming he was prohibited from buying gas because of the color of his skin, according to multiple media reports.Dominique DeWeese says he asked the attendant for a gallon of gas in a container back in July. A drug used to euthanize animals has been found in canned dog food, prompting a recall.Low levels of the drug pentobarbital were detected in cans of Gravy Train dog food produced by the J.M. Smucker Company, the FDA said in a statement Friday. Pentobarbital is most commonly used as a sedative, anesthetic or to euthanize animals, it said."Pets that eat pet food containing pentobarbital can experience drowsiness, dizziness, excitement, loss of balance, nausea, nystagmus (eyes moving back and forth in a jerky manner) and inability to stand. A fatal crash that closed the westbound lanes of I-696 near Detroit Tuesday involved a driver who ran out of gas on the side of the freeway. The Michigan State Police said a driver that ran out of gas was parked on the right shoulder. His father came to the scene to bring gas. As the driver was filling his tank with gas, and his father sat in his car with the child of the stranded driver, another driver on the freeway lost control and hit both vehicles. The driver filling his tank was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car that lost control sustained minor injuries. MSP said the suspect driver is in custody and a blood draw was performed at a nearby hospital. A brutal attack on a McDonald's drive-thru worker in Michigan has the victim speaking out against her attacker."He drove up and I opened the window halfway to take his money. He shot me with a paintball gun and drove off," the victim said. She also recalls that the customer's weapon closely resembled a real handgun.
