A woman in her underwear arriving on a white horse at a packed nightclub -- and being greeted by flashing cameras -- didn't go over well with Miami Beach authorities.The Mokai Lounge is under investigation for possible animal cruelty and public safety issues after video from the apparent stunt earlier this week surfaced on social media. By Friday, the city revoked the club's business license.The clip shows the woman in what appears to be a thong and a bra entering the club on the white horse. The horse then dips, the woman falls off and the horse bucks and walks off. People in the video are heard gasping and then cheering. ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV) -- As firefighters work towards 100% containment in the Valley Fire, business owners are cleaning up the damage left behind by the flames. Alpine Dog Ranch is a vacation ranch for dogs to say while their owners are away. When the Valley Fire started, the ranch's owner, Thomas MacKinnon, was taking care of nine dogs, including his own. He quickly rushed to get them all into a van and tried to get out, but MacKinnon says they were trapped by flames. He and several neighbors took refuge in an open field until the flames passed. Firefighters and a 747 Supertanker saved all of the structures. No one was hurt. The fire did burn a lot of the greenery on the ranch and now MacKinnon is cleaning up; repairing fencing, the sprinkler system and covering burned patches with woodchips. MacKinnon says the fire was an added challenge on top of a difficult year. Like many businesses, the Alpine Dog Ranch has been struggling. A Milledgeville, Georgia boy was arrested on Friday when a gun discharged from the boy's backpack inside an elementary school, WMAZ-TV reported. The boy attends Lakeview Academy, a school for students in grades 3 through 5. The boy told investigators that he was unaware that there was a gun in his backpack, and that he had never seen the firearm before. The gun reportedly went off as he was going through his backpack in the back of the classroom. After authorities arrived at the school, he was placed under arrest. The boy is facing four charges, according to WMAZ: Carrying a weapon in a school zone; reckless conduct; disrupting or interfering with public school; and possession of a pistol by a person under 18. Baldwin County Sheriff's Maj. Scott Deason told WMAZ that the firearm was a stolen Smith & Wesson 9-millimeter. Deason told the Union Reporter that that student could not explain to investigators how he ended up with the gun.“They questioned the juvenile in the presence of his mother,” Deason told the Union Reporter. “The mother also stated she didn’t know how the gun got into her son’s book bag.”The Union Reporter added that the boy is not allowed back in school until after he goes through the court system. 1320

A woman crossing into the United States from Canada has been arrested following reports of a suspicious letter being sent to the White House.CNN and NBC News reported that an arrest had been made, per their sources.The arrest was made at the Peace Bridge in Buffalo, NY, Scripps station WKBW learned through a source.On Saturday, the FBI confirmed that it was joining the USPS and Secret Service in a joint investigation of a suspicious letter addressed to a government facility. Letters addressed to the White House are screened off site before reaching the complex.CNN reported that the letter contained ricin.According to the CDC, Ricin is a poison found naturally in castor beans.“If made into a partially purified material or refined into a terrorist or warfare agent, ricin could be used to expose people through the air, food, or water,” the CDC said, adding that there is no known antidote for ricin.The White House has been the target of ricin mailings in the past.
