Steve Wynn is now free to sell his stake in the massive casino business he founded.Wynn Resorts said in a filing on Thursday that Wynn, its former chief executive, and his ex-wife Elaine Wynn, have dissolved an agreement that prevented them from selling their shares.Wynn stepped down as CEO last month after allegations of sexual misconduct piled pressure on the billionaire casino mogul and sent the company's stock tumbling.The company, which operates casinos in Las Vegas and Macau, said in its filing that Steve Wynn may now "seek to sell all or a portion" of the roughly 12 million shares that he owns. Elaine Wynn owns another 10 million shares, giving them a combined 21% stake.Wynn, 76, has denied the accusations of misconduct, which gained widespread attention in late January after an investigative report by The Wall Street Journal detailed numerous allegations against him, citing dozens of sources.Shares in the company were trading above 0 in January, but dropped sharply after the allegations were made public. The America Farm Bureau Foundation says that the average feast for 10 will cost .90, which is .01 less than in 2019.While other types of meat are more expensive this year, according to USDA data, turkey prices have dropped. A 16-pound turkey is expected to cost .39, which is down 7% from a year ago. The IRS sent many of its employees to work from home, resulting in delays in processing refunds. It was also difficult for many Americans to contact the IRS.Meanwhile, the IRS was processing millions of economic impact payments as most American adults were eligible to receive a ,200 payment from the federal government.The IRS advised tax payers on Tuesday to not rely on a tax refund coming by a certain date.“The IRS always cautions taxpayers not to rely on receiving a refund by a certain date, especially when making major purchases or paying bills,” the IRS said on Tuesday. “Some returns may require additional review and processing may take longer. For example, the IRS, along with its partners in the tax industry, continue to strengthen security reviews to help protect against identity theft and refund fraud. Just like last year, refunds for tax returns claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit or Additional Child Tax Credit [lnks.gd], cannot be issued before mid-February. This applies to the entire refund, even the portion not associated with these credits.”The IRS said that the fastest way for tax payers to obtain a refund is to file electronically and request payment via direct deposit.The IRS said that once a tax return is received, Americans can track their refund using the “Where’s My Refund” tool on its website.According to the IRS, the agency issued 122 million refunds for tax year 2019, totaling 2 billion. TAMPA, Fla. -- A Tampa man is speaking to national supermarket chains after inventing a device to sanitize shopping carts.Adam Labadie created a product known as "The Arch Cart Sanitizer." The device sanitizes shopping carts in a few seconds. It uses an organic, EPA, FDA approved solution to kill COVID-19. "We ship a dry package to the store. We don't ship liquid across the country," he said.Studies show shopping cart handles have bacteria on them. It is one of the most commonly touched items in a store."Customers now are expecting a clean cart. They expect a clean store and a clean cart," said Labadie. Labadie said he first noticed a trash can full of used wipes at a local grocery store. He also saw a lot of trash while snorkeling and diving in Florida."I went and I looked at the trash can. It was a full trash can full of wipes," he said."I wanted to find another solution," he added.Labadie said his invention could help eliminate the use of wipes at grocery stores. He hopes to start production in the next few weeks."We'll be sending out free demos, free demos to grocers...some in the Northeast and some in the South in about 3 weeks so it's super exciting for me. It means I get to showcase my baby," said Labadie. The father of two was laid off at the start of the pandemic. He began working on his invention.
