Actor Hugh Keays-Byrne, who portrayed villains from George Miller's "Mad Max" movie franchise, has died. Allergan has recalled almost 170,000 sample packs of birth control pills because of a packaging error that could put consumers at risk for unintended pregnancy.According to the recall, four placebo capsules were placed out of order in a sample pack of Taytulla and the first four days of therapy had four non-hormonal placebo capsules instead of active capsules."As a result of this packaging error, oral contraceptive capsules, that are taken out of sequence, may place the user at risk for contraceptive failure and unintended pregnancy," The recall states. ALLIED GARDENS (CNS) - A man was left with serious injuries after he was struck by a car while trying to cross an Allied Gardens roadway on Sunday, police said.Just before 7:30 a.m., a 28-year-old man was crossing the 6700 block of Mission Gorge Road, heading west, when he stepped off the center divider into the path of a 1999 Toyota Camry driven by a 30-year-old man, San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros said.The pedestrian suffered a fractured lower leg, injuries to his face and head trauma, Delimitros said. His injuries were not considered to be life-threatening.The crash is under investigation. 616

Actor Ryan Reynolds is offering a ,000 reward to anyone who can help a woman reunite with her missing teddy bear.During an interview with CBC, the woman was moving in Vancouver when the bag holding the bear went missing.The woman told CBC that the bear is very dear to her because it reportedly has a recording of her late mother's voice on it.
