For the third time in three weeks, a major commercial airline flight was diverted mid-air because of a damaged window.The latest incident happened Sunday, when a JetBlue flight from San Juan, Puerto Rico, to Tampa, Florida, was diverted because of damage to the plane's windscreen.The airline said the flight was diverted to Fort Lauderdale out of "an abundance of caution following a report of damage to one of the outer layers of the cockpit windscreen." The plane landed safely and the passengers were accommodated on another aircraft, JetBlue said.That incident comes about three weeks after a?fatal Southwest Airlines flight in which a jet engine failed midair and debris knocked out a cabin window.Jennifer Riordan, a philanthropist and Wells Fargo executive in New Mexico, was partially sucked out of the plane as other passengers struggled to pull her back into her seat. She was later pronounced dead from blunt impact trauma, a spokesman for the Philadelphia Department of Public Health said.Investigators with the National Transportation Safety Board who looked into the failure said that one of the engine's 24 fan blades was missing.Despite the mid-air engine failure, Captain Tammie Jo Shults was able to safely pilot the flight in an emergency landing in Philadelphia.On May 2, a Southwest Airlines flight from Chicago to Newark, New Jersey, made an unplanned landing after a window cracked.Flight 957 landed safely at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Cory said. Southwest said the diversion was in response to a reported crack in the outer pane of a multi-pane window.Passenger Linda Holley texted her son Ryan with a picture of a damaged window."Window on plane cracked during flight. Landing in Cleveland to be safe. Everything ok but scary," one of her texts read.In another, she said: "Yes Southwest. Just heard loud noise. Very large crack with piece of window missing at bottom. Four lions at the Barcelona Zoo tested positive for coronavirus, according to veterinary officials. This is the second report of large felines contracting the disease at a zoo.Barcelona Zoo in Spain says two staff members also tested positive for COVID-19 during the outbreak last month, in addition to four of their lions, according to the BBC: Zala, Nima, Run Run, who are all females, and one male, Kiumbe. A statement from the zoo said the animals had been showing upper respiratory symptoms, and were given a coronavirus test.“The Zoo has worked with international experts such as the Veterinary Service of the Bronx Zoo, the only one that has documented cases of Sars-CoV-2 infection in felines,” a statement from the zoo reads.In April, four tigers and three lions tested positive for COVID-19 at the Bronx Zoo."The lions were given veterinary care for their mild clinical condition - similar to a very mild flu condition - through anti-inflammatory treatment and close monitoring, and the animals responded well,” a statement from Barcelona Zoo reads.The zoo reports most symptoms have improved in the lions, other than some minor coughing and sneezing.An investigation is underway to determine how the lions became infected in Barcelona, according to the BBC they may have been in contact with an asymptomatic staff member. 1340

FRANKLIN, Ind. -- A Franklin, Indiana man who's been arrested once for driving his lawnmower while drunk was arrested again Saturday for the same reason, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.A sheriff's deputy was sent to a Franklin lawn around 5:15 p.m. after a caller said a man wearing a neon green shirt, riding a red lawnmower, pulled into his yard and began to mow his grass.The caller said he told the man to get off his property.A Franklin police officer spotted the man headed west on his lawnmower on County Road 100 North. The man was identified by his drivers ID card as Barry K. Ridge.Ridge told the sheriff's deputy that he was headed from his uncle's house back to his home.The deputy said he noticed Ridge's eyes appeared glassy.He asked Ridge if he drank any alcohol and Ridge reportedly told the deputy he had three beers about an hour ago.According to the police report, Ridge's breath test at the Johnson County Jail registered .165. The legal limit in Indiana is .08.Ridge was arrested on a preliminary charge of OWI with a previous conviction. His lawnmower was also impounded.Ridge is currently awaiting trial on an OWI arrest from April 8, 2018, where he was reportedly on his lawnmower in a Kroger parking lot causing a disturbance.According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, Ridge has prior conviction for OWI out of Marion County from September 2013. 1443
