PAHOA, Hawaii (KGTV and AP) - A 6.9 earthquake and several other strong quakes shook Hawaii’s Big Island Friday near where a volcanic eruption has forced residents to evacuate.The U.S. Geological Survey recorded at least seven quakes that measured above a 4.0 magnitude Friday, in addition to smaller tremors.Hawaii County Civil Defense says Friday's earthquakes were centered near the south flank of Kilauea volcano. PARADISE HILLS (CNS) - A 28-year-old man and his 27-year-old passenger were injured today after the 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle they were riding crashed into a stationary vehicle in the Paradise Hills neighborhood of San Diego.The collision happened at 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the 6400 block of Potomac Street, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.``The driver lost control of his motorcycle and slid into a parked vehicle,'' Heims said. ``The driver sustained broken knees along with several other injuries.''The passenger suffered a dislocated right hip. PHOENIX — Three people, including two children, have died after being stabbed near 19th and Glendale avenues Sunday morning.Phoenix police say they are conducting a homicide investigation after they found a 7-year old boy, 9-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman who had been stabbed to death inside of an apartment.
