The island had been mined for sulfur until a 1914 accident in which at least 10 people were killed, and a landslide destroyed the miners’ village and the mine itself. An American Airlines pilot based out of Dallas-Fort Worth has tested positive for coronavirus, according to a statement from the airline obtained by ABC News.
