FAIRBORN, Ohio — A 911 call during a regularly-scheduled installation exercise prompted a lockdown at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base on Thursday.According to the base's Twitter account, officials were executing an active shooter training exercise in Area A of the base on Thursday when an "unknown individual" called 911, fearing the training was real. The call prompted a security sweep of the base and a lockdown call.Later, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base later clarified that there was never a "real world" active shooter on the base.  558

FALLBROOK (KGTV) - A mobile home fire spread to brush in the Fallbrook area, North County Fire reported Tuesday.The flames broke out about 2:40 p.m. at Highway 395 and Rainbow Valley Road. The mobile home fire sparked three small brush fires nearby.The fires were extinguished within half an hour.There are no reports of injuries or road closures.An employee of a nearby business was unaware of the fire.10News is monitoring breaking developments. 455

ENCINITAS, Calif. (KGTV) - In recent days, swarms of butterflies have been spotted across North County, from Escondido to Vista to Fallbrook. They're Painted Lady butterflies, migrating north from Mexico. Tom Merriman, Director at Butterfly Farms in Encinitas, says conditions have been perfect for the species. The wet winter fueled vegetation growth in the Sonoran Desert in Mexico, giving caterpillars a lot to eat. “You’re going to see butterfly after butterfly after butterfly. Every two, three seconds you're going to see another butterfly coming through.”However, it's hard to predict when and where they'll be throughout the next few weeks. “The conditions were just perfect, I mean there could be over a billion of them, we don’t know. I'm hearing people from Palm Springs to Vista," said Merriman.He says he hasn’t seen a migration this vast in years. They're traveling at about 20 to 25 mph headed north to Oregon where they’ll breed, lay eggs and then die; the next generation will continue on north. The Painted Lady is smaller than the Monarch, and the two are relatives. Facebook has removed a network of suspected Russian-linked accounts and pages involved in organizing political events in the United States. The network is the most extensive effort to interfere in American politics that Facebook has found and made public ahead of November's midterm elections.The move comes as part of Facebook's efforts to prevent a repeat of 2016, when accounts connected to a Kremlin-linked troll group posing as Americans ran rampant on its platform.In briefings on Capitol Hill, Facebook has told lawmakers that it suspects a Russian group is behind more than 30 pages advocating US political stances, according to a congressional source briefed on the matter. One page promoted a "No Unite the Right 2" march -- a counter demonstration to a planned "Unite the Right" event to coincide with the one-year anniversary of the march in Charlottesville in which a woman was killed. There was also an effort to amplify the "Abolish ICE" message pushed by liberals, the source said.Publicly, Facebook is saying it does not know for sure who was behind the network, but is saying it has "found evidence of some connections between these accounts" and accounts that had been run by Russian trolls in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election.
