NINGBO, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Chinese customs officials have intercepted 1,127 tonnes of imported waste metals from Japan with excessive gamma rays in the coastal city of Ningbo in east China, local authorities said Tuesday.
The State Council also decided to list south China's Guangdong province as a pilot region for administrative examination and approval system reforms during the 12th Five-Year Plan period (2011-2015).
"When we were declining any foreign assistance at the time, we had already started to help other developing countries and we believe developing countries have to help each other in order to achieve common development," said Cui.
By the end of September, China's forex reserves stood at 3.29 trillion U.S. dollars, edging up from 3.24 trillion U.S. dollars at the end of June, according to data from the State Administration of Foreign Exchange released Saturday.
China, as one of the developing countries, would try its best to continue to take an active part in South-South cooperation.
