SINGAPORE, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday called for efforts to upgrade the strategic partnership between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), as the two sides adopted a key document to chart the course for their ties till 2030.
Noting that China and Bangladesh are good neighbors, good friends and good partners, he said China stands ready to work with Bangladesh to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries.
Xi reiterated the importance of keeping promises, noting that China and Japan should "act on the basis of their four political documents and consensus, deal with problems and differences constructively, so as to maintain the political foundation guiding healthy development of bilateral ties."
In their talks, Li said the two sides should actively expand cooperation in smart-city building, promote the upgrading of city management and artificial intelligence development, and mull new local-level collaboration.
