ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — A Florida woman was arrested on Sunday after police say she stripped naked and ran around at a public park because she believed a giant spider was on her and she had to get away from it. St. Petersburg Police arrested 40-year-old Danielle Teeples on Sunday at Bartlett Park around 2:15 p.m. Police say that Teeples was completely nude and that there were numerous people in the park at the time of the incident. Police say that traffic on 4th Street South was heavy at the time of the incident and that numerous vehicles were slowing and honking at Teeples as they saw her behavior. According to an arrest report, Teeples was "acting erratically and rubbing her hair and breasts while screaming and running between two trees."St. Pete Police say Teeples initially refused to get dressed after police contacted her. Post Miranda, police say that Teeples admitted to recently using drugs such as crack cocaine, spice and crystal meth. She also said that she believed a giant spider was on her and she had to get away from it.Teeples was arrested and charged with exposure of sexual organs. 1164
Snapchat can't catch a break.Shares of the social media company plunged Wednesday after it changed its app again — only months after a previous redesign that ticked off users.Snap stock was down 7% in midday trading, putting it more than 15% below the price when it went public last year.Last year, Snapchat changed the app to differentiate between a user's personal friends and media superstars that a user follows. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is demanding the Federal Aviation Administration increase inspections of aircraft maintenance after his office reviewed agency records and found that enforcement and fines specifically for maintenance issues have dropped over the last several years.Schumer's office asserts that formal enforcement actions for airline maintenance issues decreased after 2014 and dropped dramatically in 2017. The data was compiled from the agency's quarterly reports on civil enforcement penalties, according to a statement from his office.The New York Democrat said the decline in maintenance enforcement raises serious concerns about whether the FAA is meeting its oversight mandates. (KGTV) — Even though the tables and chairs are empty, the pit-masters at Cali Comfort BBQ are keeping busy.The kitchen and bar are filling takeout and delivery orders, thanks to increased online and phone sales."As restaurant owners, we can't discriminate how people eat our barbecue," says Owner Shawn Walchef. "If they want to order barbecue delivered to their office or the little league field, then they should be able to get that. They shouldn't have to come and wait in line."It's a new strategy Walchef is using during the pandemic, thanks to his partnership with Restaurant Solutions, a consulting firm that helps small restaurants analyze their financial prospects."What we've been doing is really focusing on doing break-even analysis with our clients," says Sydney Lynn, the Director of Planning Advisory Services with the company.She says restaurants need to focus on people's digital experience now more than ever, so restaurants can be profitable during and after the Pandemic."Restaurant entrepreneurs and owners are the most creative and innovative folks you'll know.
