The framework of China-CEE cooperation, also known as the "16+1" mechanism, has established a new platform covering all-round, extensive and multi-dimensional cooperation fields, Xi pointed out.

Xi's visit on Nov. 5-6 will be the first by a Chinese president to Vietnam after the 18th National Congress of the CPC in November 2012.
The situation is clearly win-win. China gets to upgrade its economy and partner countries get infrastructure with lower costs.
The two leaders also pledged to deepen cooperation within the framework of the emerging-market bloc of BRICS and in a wide range of areas, such as politics, economy, trade, finance, energy and culture.
