NANNING, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- China's top political advisor Wang Yang on Tuesday visited local people in the city of Nanning, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, which is marking its 60th anniversary.
The governments of the two countries inked a memorandum of understanding on maritime cooperation in 2016 and further signed papers establishing a "blue partnership" in 2017, making Portugal the first European Union member to set up such a partnership with China.
The South Korean side thanked China for its contribution to achieving denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, and stands ready to work together with China to build a more open and free world economy, he said.
"The relations now between China and the Philippines in the economic and financial fields are really warm. It's something we are looking forward to. Many infrastructure projects are being implemented and I believe there will be more cooperation in the future," Beltran said.
He also urged Hong Kong and Macao to participate in the construction of the Belt and Road and jointly explore overseas markets.
