MEXICO CITY (KGTV) — Authorities Friday say at least two people have been killed at an elementary school in northern Mexico after a student opened fire on his teacher and classmates.Coahuila state Gov. Miguel Angel Riquelme said an 11-year-old sixth-grade student at Colegio Cervantes in Torreon, Coahuila, is the suspected gunman, the Associated Press reported. The student reportedly asked his teacher to use the bathroom and later returned to class with two firearms. Riquelme said the student killed his teacher and himself, and wounded five other students and a gym teacher at the private school. MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico has reached a deal with the United States to pay the shortfall in its annual contribution of water from border-area rivers, by transferring rights to water held in border dams that normally supply cities and towns downstream. MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. — An alligator crossing a road in Manatee County led to a deadly crash on Thursday night, the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) says.According to an FHP press release, an alligator crossing State Road 70 walked into the path of a car at around 10:40 p.m. local time.
