The jury found Richard Gonsalves' actions not negligent 12-0. On September 27, 2016, Olango’s sister called 911 to report that her 38-year-old brother was displaying erratic behavior and walking out into traffic. Two officers arrived and spotted Olango in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant on the 800 block of Broadway, ordering him to remove his hands from his pockets. Olango pulled something out of his pocket officers believed was a gun and, according to police, he assumed “what appeared to be a shooting stance” and made some kind of movement. A remote video surveillance system reported a stake bed truck and van suspected of smuggling near the border wall west of Mount Signal Road. Agents responded and stopped the truck as it traveled toward Highway 98, but the van continued on, CBP said.The driver of the truck, a 22-year-old U.S. citizen, admitted he was transporting individuals illegally in the rear cargo area of the truck. (KGTV) — El Cajon Police are warning residents of a recent string of street robberies that have occurred over the past several weeks.Police said the victims have been described as elderly men and have been physically assaulted from behind by a lone suspect. None of the victims report seeing a weapon, but have been robbed while walking on public sidewalks in the areas of the 1000 block of East Main Street and the 800 block of Buena Terrace.The suspect in each case varies, but has been described as either an African American, Hispanic, or Middle Eastern male within the ages of 20 to 40 years old.
