(KGTV) - TripAdvisor confirmed this month its willingness to publish travel reviews which include reports of crimes such as rape, robbery, theft or assault.A news release referenced a USA Today network article regarding a woman's online report that she had been sexually assaulted at the Iberostar Paraiso hotel near Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The article indicated the woman's review was removed from the TripAdvisor website.TripAdvisor said the woman's forum post was removed seven years ago when the company had a policy requiring content to use family-friendly language. Site officials said the policy changed to allow more descriptive reviews, including crime.“We believe any first-hand experience should be posted to our site as a means to communicate to other consumers looking for information on where they should travel,” TripAdvisor posted on its site.TripAdvisor said it is creating a badge notification to apply to businesses to alert consumers of health and safety or discrimination issues at that business reported on within the media or other credible sources of information.  1123

She returned to San Diego May 21st and returned to work at UCSD Medical Center, just three days later. The transition has not been easy.“A part of me feels guilty leaving my team there. The first day back at UCSD Medical Center I felt lost and I cried.”Wilkinson’s firefighter husband and two young sons understood when she answered the call for help in New York City. She has served on medical missions all over the world but this mission was the most challenging. Her motto is that no patient dies alone.“I became attached to my patients and because their families couldn’t be there, I was there holding their hands when they died.”Wilkinson says her time in New York has made her a better person and a better nurse. 860

A bakery in Baltimore, Maryland is going beyond making goods.The goal at The Samaritan Women bakery is to shape young women into professionals.The women also call this place home. The residents of The Samaritan Women are all survivors of sex trafficking and abuse.“What our program does is provide that first real world working experience,” says Jeanne Allert, the organization’s founder.Allert founded the organization in 2007. Her goal was to provide safe, long-term housing, and vocational programs, like the bakery, to women across America who have suffered the unthinkable.The goal is to not only to develop life skills, but to create a recipe to a new woman.Rosylyn Lindneris, who is on the staff, says learning basic work skills is important, because most of the women have never had a real job. "Our biggest wish is that her personhood, her humanity, gets restored,” says Allert. 900

A 12-year old Brooklyn girl is uplifting audiences and making history as one of the youngest composers for the New York Philharmonic.Grace Moore is a seventh-grade student at Poly Prep in Dyker Heights. She’s also soaring to new heights with her passion for classical music.Moore describes herself as quiet and shy, but when it comes to her music, she is powerful. In October, Moore had a world premiere of a piece she created for the NY Philharmonic. It was the music she composed.Moore is a participant of the New York Philharmonic’s Very Young Composers program— a program that teaches people as young as eight to create music, they have the some of best musicians in the world perform it.Moore’s talent is extraordinary.Her love of music started at the age of two when her mom bought her a piano.
