(KGTV) -- As spring breakers get ready to flock to vacation destinations around the world, a new report shows that Mexico has some of the most dangerous cities. Tijuana is the most dangerous city in the world, according to a report by the Citizens’ Council for Public Security and Criminal Justice. The Los Angeles Times reports that five cities in Mexico are among the most dangerous in the world. The list includes Acapulco, Victoria, Juarez, Irapuato and Tijuana. The report was published shortly after the U.S. Embassy & Consulates in Mexico issued a warning to people traveling for spring break. The alert warns of dangers including unregulated alcohol, sexual assault, medical emergencies and breaking the law in Mexico. According to Journey Mexico, more than 10 million people visited Mexico during the first quarter of 2018. Cancun is one of the top destinations in Mexico for spring breakers. While the vast majority of travelers have safe and enjoyable trips, Spring Break travel can sometimes include unforeseen problems," the alert read. Jacobs is the granddaughter of Qualcomm co-founder Irwin Jacobs. She was a policy advisor to Hillary Clinton during her bid for the presidency in 2016.Jacobs supports Medicare for all, gun reform, and repealing tax cuts and jobs act.Georgette Gomez serves as a San Diego councilwoman serving the 9th District. (CNN) -- Uber released its highly-anticipated safety report on Thursday revealing, among other details, that it received 5,981 reports of sexual assault in 2017 and 2018.Among those, there were 464 reports of rape.Uber first pledged to release the report nearly a year ago in response to a CNN investigation that found at least 103 Uber drivers in the United States had been accused of sexually assaulting or abusing their passengers in the previous four years. The drivers were arrested, wanted by police, or had been named in civil suits related to the incidents. Uber ultimately announced it would do away with a policy that previously forced individuals with sexual-assault complaints into arbitration and made them sign non-disclosure agreements.Uber went public in May but warned investors in its IPO paperwork about the report, which it said could negatively impact its brand."The public responses to this transparency report or similar public reporting of safety incidents claimed to have occurred on our platform ... may result in negative media coverage and increased regulatory scrutiny and could adversely affect our reputation with platform users," the company says in the filing.Uber and competitor Lyft have faced legal action related to safety issues around the country. A lack of transparency about the number of incidents involving drivers has been a sticking point in lawsuits against the company.
