It's a step forward and we want to thank him for such a generous move."Perry has been known to provide funeral services for others in the past. According to ABC News, he paid for the funeral services for two 15-month-old twin sisters who died after they left in a hot car in Georgia in 2016. In 2019, he reportedly paid for the funeral of a single mother of four children from Milwaukee.Earlier this month, boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. paid for the funeral services for George Floyd, who died in Minneapolis police custody. Brooks was killed on Friday when police attempted to take him into custody for DUI. A struggle ensued, and Brooks stole an officer's stun gun and tried to flee the scene. Officer Garrett Rolfe shot Brooks in the back twice, and Brooks later died in surgery at a local hospital. I don't want that snake anywhere near me. Holy crap, what is it going to do?" said Piatek.What Piatek did manage to do was take a few photos, before calling up professional snake wrangler Tom Minga. It's hardly the first oversized rattler of the season. Minga just caught another one a few homes down.A few days ago, 10News reported on the discovery of a 6-foot-long Red Diamond rattler that surprised a woman and her little dog in a Santee backyard.Minga says the giant sizes mean despite the lack of rain this winter, food remains aplenty and the snakes should continue to be an active snake season. After briefly becoming a Category 2 storm on Monday, Hurricane Sally weakened back to a Category 1 storm overnight as it threatens to swamp Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida panhandle.In its 8 p.m. CT update, the National Hurricane Center said Tuesday that Sally currently has maximum sustained winds of 85 mph and is currently moving toward the Mississippi and Alabama shores at 2 mph.The NHC said the hurricane is about 70 miles south of Mobile, Alabama, and 70 miles southwest of Pensacola, Florida.At 9 p.m. CT, a sustained wind of 58 mph with a gust of 73 mph was reported at Petit Bois Island, Mississippi, the NHC said.The overnight weakening is a welcome sign to forecasters. On Monday evening, NHC forecasted that Sally could produce winds of up to 110 mph before it made landfall.NHC warned that even though the storm slowed down, it will still produce a "life-threatening" storm surge in the central Gulf Coast region of the U.S. The NHC says "historic" flash flooding is possible as it makes landfall.The agency expects the Alabama coast to see the most flooding, including Mobile Bay.Hurricane conditions are expected as early as Tuesday, and the storm is currently projected to make landfall by Wednesday morning. 1239

About 26,000 Ford vehicles are being recalled with three different safety concerns announced this week.The first one is for certain 2016-2020 Lincoln MKX and Nautilus vehicles with 16-way power seats. The issue is with the wiring of the seat harness and how close they are to the seat cushion pan. If certain wires are damaged from coming into contact with the seat cushion frame, Ford says the airbag system may not perform as intended.People with impacted models can go to a dealer to have them install flocking tape and check the wires.The second recall is for the newest model of F-650 and F-750 trucks. The vehicles are missing certain thermal protection components intended to reduce the interior cabin floor and seat attachment temperatures in hot conditions.The third recall affects less than 100 of the 2020 Ford Escape and Transit vehicles. The airbag may not inflate properly. People are encouraged to take their vehicle to a Ford dealer to have the airbag checked.Ford is not aware of any injuries from any of these safety concerns. 1052
