An Amazon delivery driver was fired and arrested after police say she stole a dachshund from in front of a Texas couple's home and attempted to sell it online.The suspect, 22-year-old Mycah Keyona Wade, was in a Weatherford neighborhood on July 5 making deliveries as a contract driver for Amazon when she spotted the dog, Parker County Sheriff's Office Deputy Danie Huffman said.The dachshund, a 2-year-old named "RJ," had darted out of his home as his owners opened the door to go to the grocery store and ran across the front yard, Huffman said.Wade snatched the dog from the street in front of the home, Huffman said. A landscaper who reported having a conversation with the suspect about the dog and private security footage from the neighborhood helped police identify Wade.After a warrant was issued for her arrest, she turned herself in and initially denied she'd taken the dog.She later turned RJ over to investigators, who returned the dog to its original owners."This does not reflect the high standards we have for delivery service partners. We're glad the customer has been reunited with their pet, and we have been in touch with them to make it right. We take these matters seriously and these individuals are no longer delivering Amazon packages," Amazon said in a statement to CNN.Wade told police she asked landscapers where the dog came from but they were unable to tell her. However, landscapers told police they pointed directly at the dog's home when she asked.An ad for RJ was located on Craigslist, Parker County Sheriff's Property Crimes Investigator Ethan Stark said, according to the Cleburne Times-Review."There was no contact information, but we're pretty sure it was RJ that was for sale on Craigslist for 0," Stark said. A Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, neighborhood had plenty to talk about Monday morning!A large gator was found in a swimming pool at a home in the Marlwood Estates community on Graemoor Terrace, and had to be removed.Video from a neighbor shows a trapper hauling the huge reptile out of the pool and dragging it across the lawn.It's unclear how the gator got into the fenced yard, or how big it is.Vanessa Schultz said she was walking her kids to the bus stop around 7:15 a.m. Monday when she was told a large alligator was in her neighbor's pool. "It was big, really big," said Schultz, who captured images of the alligator. "I was totally in panic. When I saw the alligator I was scared."Schultz said she’s lived in Marlwood Estates for three years and has only seen a gator there once before. She said the an alligator was spotted in a lake last year behind her property.Schultz, a mother of three, thinks the gator in the pool was likely 9 feet long and over 300 pounds."It totally concerns me. A New Jersey couple expecting their first baby had plans to get married in a small civil ceremony two weeks before their child arrived. Their baby, however, had other plans.Michael Gallardo said he and his fiancee, Marie Margaritondo, were in the middle of moving into a new home when Margaritondo went into labor on Memorial Day. It was two weeks before the baby's June 10 due date and two days before the wedding ceremony was to take place.Gallardo, 45, said they rushed to Morristown Medical Center and were given paperwork to sign listing Gallardo as Margaritondo's fiance, not her husband."What really sparked it is when they had brought in the paperwork and said because you weren't married he wouldn't be able to be my proxy," Margaritondo, 44, said.Gallardo told CNN they asked whether there was a chaplain in the hospital so they could exchange vows before the baby arrived, and "the doctor thought we were joking." But once he realized they were serious, the hospital staff sprang into action.Gallardo said one nurse went online to see whether she could get ordained, one went outside to pick flowers for a bouquet and one went in search of a chaplain."They went above and beyond," he said of the nurses who helped them that day. "Luckily I had already picked up the marriage license."Someone managed to track down the medical center's on-call chaplain, according to a hospital spokesperson, and the chaplain married the couple in front of their mothers and the hospital staff. "We literally said 'I do' and the doctor was like 'let's go' and wheeled the bed into the OR," Gallardo said.Soon after, Michael Preston Gallardo entered the world via cesarean section. "It goes to show you can't map out and plan life," Gallardo said.The couple have been together for three years and got engaged last summer.
