SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- SeaWorld San Diego’s Skyride reopened Wednesday after a ‘”gust of significant wind” caused the ride to close in mid-February. According to SeaWorld, the park, along with the ride’s manufacturer and the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health inspected various parts of the ride over the last several months, including the towers, gondolas, ride cables and various other equipment. SeaWorld says the ride’s communication cable was also replaced. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Stephen Reis is known for his work on The Simpsons, and now his work is displayed at San Diego Comic-Con.After donating art to a fundraising effort last year, his work blew up on social media. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego runners take off in the first of three races this year as part of the Triple Crown series.The set of runs includes the Carlsbad Full or Half Marathon on Jan. 19, La Jolla Half Marathon on May 26, and America's Finest City Half Marathon on Aug. 16.To join the Triple Crown series, runners need only register to finish each event in the same calendar year, beginning in Carlsbad.
