YouTube users throughout the United States reported an outage Wednesday evening to the popular video sharing platform.Google, parent company of YouTube, did not said what caused the outage. Google said the outage was over by 9:13 p.m. ET"If you’re having trouble watching videos on YouTube right now, you’re not alone – our team is aware of the issue and working on a fix. We’ll follow up here with any updates," Google said in an update earlier in the evening.YouTube users who went to the website and attempted to watch a video found that videos would not play.The outage-reporting website Downdetector.com said nearly 300,000 users reported outages in the 7 p.m. ET hour. 682

With the election coming in a matter of days, Americans are waiting with baited breath as a survey found a majority of people expect the outcome of the election to play a role in their personal finances.According to the Consumer Credit Confidence Survey from Equifax, 69% say the outcome of the election is a significant factor that will impact their future financial decisions.The survey, which was released on Wednesday, came on the same day that the Dow Jones lost more than 900 points. The markets have taken a tumble in recent weeks as coronavirus cases jump throughout the US.The survey did find that more Americans (33%) are optimistic about the economy compared to April (27%)."The pandemic has impacted all aspects of our lives," said Beverly Anderson, President of Global Consumer Solutions at Equifax. "I really did think that was his final hurrah," said Colby. Colby posted the video of the experience on Reddit, which got thousands of views. Little did he know, someone else with an similar love for cars was watching too. "I got an email two weeks later from producers with 'Jay Leno's Garage,'" said Colby. Within days the Webbs were on a private plane flying to Burbank. "We get him off the plane; there's Jay. My dad looks at my wife and goes that's Jay Leno," said Colby. All of it arranged in secret. Leno had a prototype Corvette ready to go. "Jay's not gonna call you out and let you just sit in the car," said Colby. Together, they took it for a spin, then stopped by Jay's garage for a tour of his massive car collection. "Jay Leno is one of the nicest people and his crew. Everybody was just the nicest people ever; they took care of everything," said Colby. A photo on the plane ride back showed Larry once again flashing his enduring smile. "I think it will be one of the last things he thinks about," said Colby. Larry's experience will eventually air as an episode on "Jay Leno's Garage" in the coming months.
