SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Fire-Rescue responded after a man reportedly got his hand stuck in an industrial tortilla press Thursday night.According to the department, the incident happened just after 5:30 at Tortillera La Perla on the 3100 block of National Avenue in San Diego.The man has been carried out of the factory, but a piece of the equipment is reportedly still stuck to the man's hand. His condition is unclear at this time. Also unclear is how the man got his hand stuck in the press. 507

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County has seen possible early signs of a COVID-19 resurgence, after four community outbreaks were reported Friday.Dr. Wilma Wooten, the county's public health officer, said the county has recorded four community coronavirus outbreaks in the last seven days.One of the newly reported outbreaks included an unnamed restaurant. That outbreak remains under investigation, Wooten added."We had only about three community outbreaks in the month of May," Wooten said.Of the county's 56 active outbreaks, 13 are in the community setting, which have included office buildings, churches, parties, and "unauthorized weddings" in the past.One of San Diego County's 13 triggers which could cause the county to reverse loosened restrictions includes seven community outbreaks in a week. A recent study from HotPads, a Zillow-owned site, says San Diegans can pay ,270 per year in overlooked costs and fees that come with moving. The includes security and pet deposits, pet rent and parking. The biggest chunk comes from the security deposit, which is typically one month's rent. In all, it works out to an additional 6 per month. "As rent prices continue to rise and rent affordability remains a concern, it is important for renters to consider all their potential expenses before planning a move," said Joshua Clark, economist at HotPads. "There's all kinds of things they might charge you for at move-in, so you want to be sure to check before you sign anything," she said. Steingrebe focuses largely on downtown, renting out privately owned condos. She says some buildings even require tenants hire move-in coordinators to make sure things go smoothly and not disturb other residents. The biggest financial issues that arise for renters come at the end of a lease, when it comes to getting a security deposit refunded, Steingrebe said. She said the best defense is to document with photos and text any damage or issues that occur throughout the year, starting with an initial move-in inspection.
