(KGTV) - Smugglers tried to unload a boat full of marijuana next to multi-million dollar homes in Del Mar early Monday, the Border Patrol said.The panga came ashore between Carmel Valley Rd. and 4th St. about 3 a.m.Border Patrol agents said they detained at least two people who were unloading bales of marijuana.Each bundle of pot contained between 30 and 50 pounds of the plant.The smell of marijuana was strong a dozen feet away, according to 10News photographer Paul Anderegg.  510

DETROIT (AP) — The U.S. Marine Corps has confirmed that two men charged in plots against Michigan’s government spent time in the military. The Marines issued a statement saying officials are “aware of the circumstances surrounding” Daniel Harris and Joseph Morrison and will assist in any way in the investigation. Harris is one of six men charged federally with conspiring to kidnap Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. DETROIT — Investigators raided Perry Funeral Home in Detroit late Friday afternoon and have removed nearly 63 infant remains, according to Detroit Police. Officers found 36 fetuses in cardboard boxes and 27 more in freezers. The conditions of the fetuses are unknown.The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) has revoked the funeral home's license and shut the facility down. 428
