MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KGTV) -- A fire burning around Yosemite National Park has been fully contained, according to KGO.The Ferguson Fire burned nearly 97,000 acres and destroyed 10 structures. Fire crews are now in the mop-up and repair phase.The fire spread throughout Mariposa County for more than a month from July 13 through August 19. MACOMB TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A Michigan model for American Girl Dolls is opening up about her health. Alyea Rourke, who has modeled as the Hawaiian American Girl doll Nanea Mitchell, says she's been diagnosed with a disease so rare it took nearly two years to diagnose."It seemed like a giant dream to me. I was just so scared I immediately thought I will never be able to skate again," the now 14-year-old said.Alyea was diagnosed with chronic recurrent multi-focal osteomyelitis (CRMO), a potentially serious and unique form of bone disease that can be long-lasting. Right now, there's no known cure, doctors say. "They described to us was possibly an ear issue, or it was an infection in the jaw or it could’ve been a tooth decay or something like that. MICHIGAN — Six Detroit-area doctors were charged with fraudulent health care billing and unlawful prescribing of opioids, according to a federal indictment.The defendants, identified as Rajendra Bothra, Eric Backos, Gainu Edu, David Lewis, Christopher Russo and Ronald Kufner, each played different roles at different times, the indictment said. Over the course of the conspiracy, the defendants allegedly submitted claims for more than 2.5 million to Medicare, 2.6 million to Medicaid and .2 million to Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Michigan for services and equipment that was medically unnecessary, not eligible for reimbursement and/or not provided as represented.According to the indictment, the defendants issued more than 13,217,987 dosage units of Schedule II opioids, including Oxycontin, Percocet and Vicodin.The scheme, beginning in January 2013, was operated at three clinics: The Pain Center located in Eastpointe and Warren and the Interventional Pain Center in Warren.
