(KGTV) - Amid a COVID-related cancellation at a Valley Center cemetery, a community is coming together to help save an annual tradition.Valley Center Cemetery is the final resting place to more than 300 veterans. On Friday, local florist Jenelle Brinneman learned an annual holiday sight would not be laid out.She says the local chapter of a nonprofit that puts down Christmas wreaths at military grave markers announced there would be no wreaths, citing logistical problems in placing them amid COVID-19 restrictions and stay-at-home orders."Our hearts dropped, because we know how much it means," said Brinneman.On Memorial Day and Veterans Day, Brinneman raised money to place roses at military grave sites amid similar cancellations."There were strangers thanking us. People were crying, watching us put roses down," said Brinneman.Undeterred after the most recent disappointment, Brinneman posted on Facebook on Friday a call for donations to make wreath sprays, a smaller version of wreaths. When she returned home Saturday evening, she discovered something astounding."I just started crying right there. Our town is amazing ... My driveway was filled with pine, cedar, ribbons, and wreaths companies were about to throw away," said Brinneman.Brinneman set up a workshop in her driveway. Dozens of volunteers have signed up to help assemble."This is what the Christmas spirit is all about," said Brinneman.She's also hoping to include message from kids."It will be so great to walk past and see a little note attached from an amazing child in our town," said Brinneman.Brinneman says come Christmas Eve -- thanks to a community's support -- she'll be able to place the sprays at every military grave marker in the cemetery."They deserve to be recognized. Seeing the wreaths on the grave markers is something unexplainable. (KGTV) — A crash victim is hoping to track down the roadside "angel" who went above and beyond.On Friday afternoon just east of the I-15 on Old Castle Road in Valley Center, Sarah Rozenko says she was in her Volvo sedan, driving back from the grocery store and squarely in her lane. "It was like being hit with a dump truck full force," said Rozenko.It wasn't a dump truck, but a car, that hit the side of her car. It sent her spinning into a rocky embankment. She climbed out, bruised and dazed."She came out of nowhere and pulled up," said Rozenko.'She' was a passerby who told Rozenko she was an EMT. The woman, believed in her 40s or 50s, can be seen her in a photo snapped by Rozenko of the crash scene."Immediately took over calming me down, checking me out. Took over phone conversation with 9-1-1, as I was so shook up. She covered me with a blanket," said Rozenko.Rozeno says in her shock, she kept telling the woman about the surprise dinner she had planned for her husband. The stranger listened, and calmed her down."Just reassuring. I believe I would have had a panic attack had she not been there," said Rozenko.About 15 minutes after the stranger arrived, so did the firefighters and paramedics. There was a hurried exchange. "She yelled, 'What's your address?' as I am being loaded into the ambulance. I shouted it to her," said Rozenko.Some nine hours later, after Rozenko returned home from the hospital, she learned the mystery woman had collected her belongings from the car - along with all the groceries - and dropped it all off at her home with her landlord. "I was blown away. It's not every day that somebody goes out of their way to do something for you. She's my road accident angel for sure," said Rozenko.Now she's on a mission to find her angel."I really want to thank you thank you, thank you, thank you. Twitter is about to get more words -- a lot more.The company announced on Tuesday it is doubling how many characters users can cram into a tweet.Most tweets will now fit 280 characters, up from 140. The new limit will roll out to Twitter users in almost all 40 languages Twitter supports.In late September, Twitter began a test of 280-character tweets with a small group of users.Like many Twitter changes, some users complained about the move.Interestingly, Twitter said that after the novelty of tweeting more characters wore off, most people in the test stopped tweeting the full length.According to the company, only 5% of tweets sent from people in the 280-character test group were longer than 140 characters, and just 2% were over 190 characters.The new character length won't apply to Japanese, Korean or Chinese-language tweets. Those languages can convey twice as much information in less space, so tweets will remain at 140 characters, Twitter said.Of course, the change means America's highest-profile Twitter user, President Trump, will have more space. Twitter cofounder Biz Stone had said the prolific Twitter user was not in the test group.The move modifies a fundamental aspect of Twitter. Aside from the test, the social network's character limit hasn't changed since the company launched in 2006.The 140-character length wasn't a random choice: Twitter's founders wanted tweets to fit in a text message, which can only hold 160 characters. So Twitter chose 140 characters for the tweet, and 20 characters for the user name.During the 280-character test, some users argued Twitter should focus less on the length of the tweets and more on the content.
