Tropical Storm Dorian continues to gain strength and has winds of 70 mph as of 11 a.m. Wednesday.The storm is moving toward the northwest at about 13 mph and this general motion is expected to continue during the next few days. TULSA, Oklahoma — The owner of a popular Tulsa bakery was arrested after she was accused of stealing baking products. Libby Morley, who also goes by Lauren Morley and Lauren Beesley, was taken to jail March 25 for felony larceny.She is accused of stealing about ,200 worth of butter, vanilla, chocolate chips and cream cheese from Sam's Club.An affidavit said on Nov. 2, an employee of Sam's club on 44th and Sheridan noticed Morley with 24 bottles of vanilla on her flatbed. The document said the employee noticed she was acting suspicious. After checking purchase history, the club reported to police they did not sell 24 bottles of vanilla that week. An internal investigation was launched within the store and found several other incidents where Morley did not pay, according to the affidavit. From Oct. 8 until Nov. 12, the store said she "did not make an effort to pay for the items and passed operational registers as the left the location." Throughout that period of time, the affidavit said she stole a total of 126 packages of butter, nine bags of chocolate chips, nine packages of cream cheese and 24 bottles of vanilla. Morley issued a statement through her public relations firm saying, "I deny the allegations against me. This is a misunderstanding. I'm working to clear my name." This summer marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing. While the astronauts were the stars of the show, the flight controllers back in Houston has a supporting role. The Apollo 11 Mission Control Center at NASA was a historical landmark, but it wasn’t being treated as so.Four years ago, NASA chose Sonya Yungeberg and her team at Ayuda Companies to lead the restoration of the Mission Control Center.“We have been working on this project pretty diligently, starting at the research phase for about three years now,” Yungeberg says.The control center hadn’t been used since the 90’s and needed a lot of work. A team of over 100 people began restoring 50 years of history. Month after month, they sifted through photos, film and artifacts.“As you can imagine, when people go and take pictures or video, they are not looking at the stuff on the desk or under the desk,” she says.To recreate the past, they needed to go on the hunt for items that were no longer made, including old ash trays, coffee mugs, headsets and so much more. They spent months on eBay to find old replicas of the items. One huge component of the room they didn’t have to search for were the original consoles used by the flight controllers, like Director Gene Kranz.“Mr. Kranz came in one day and had been doing interviews and he turns and says, ‘Where’s my foot pedal?’ And all of us stood there dumbfounded for a second like, ‘Oh, there is a foot pedal,’ and so we went to find foot pedals,” recalls Jennie Keys with Ayuda Companies.One of their greatest accomplishments were the renderings on the big screen. “These were not available. They were not original,” Yungeberg says. “We had to recreate them and the detail in them from looking at footage, again frame by frame.”Attention to detail was mission critical. From uncovering the numbers on the walls, scraping the gum off all the chairs, matching the carpet that doesn’t exist anymore and even having the same bouquet of roses that were in the room for every launch. For the items they couldn’t track down, the team used a 3D printer to make them. After three years, the project was complete.“The plan was to have it open by the anniversary of the Moon landing, and we barely made it,” Yungeberg says.The seal of approval came from the original flight controllers who were over the moon about seeing the massive fragment of space history restored.“Gene Krantz said he didn’t quite cry, but he got a rush of emotion and he really, really loved it,” Yungeberg says.NASA congratulated the accomplishment by saying, “This is what happens when American’s come together and work hard.” 2635

The administration has previously acknowledged that parents were removed without their children, but the latest report provides an updated count -- which had been requested by the American Civil Liberties Union to serve as a baseline to better track reunifications.The ACLU filed the case against the Trump administration last year on behalf of a Congolese woman, referred to as "Ms. L," who was seeking asylum in the US and was separated from her 7-year-old daughter. The case was later expanded to a class-action lawsuit.District Judge Dana Sabraw issued a preliminary injunction last June blocking most family separations at the US-Mexico border and ordering that those already separated be reunited.Wednesday's court filing notes that since the preliminary injunction was issued, the government has worked with a steering committee regarding the status of deported parents who have children remaining in federal care. The ACLU helped lead the committee, which reached out to all the parents who had been deported.The filing also includes the latest numbers on reunifications.As of Monday, 2,741 of 2,816 children have been discharged from government care, up six since the Feb. 20 status report.
